We called the day before check in and was told that the property was under renovations. Full payment was already made. We are awaiting a refund. We gave spoken to persons at Expedia who indicated that the host has to cancel the reservation first. We are still awaiting feedback and a full refund. ...

The owner refused to present himself to open the house despite we talk at the phone. He simply said he cannot. I was unable to stay there. I had to go around Trinidad in the night to find another stay.
