“The owners are amazing people ”

“Great place to stay. Very clean and quiet. Cabin is small and perfect for two people. We stayed in the Nut House. The bathroom is very clean but very small. If you are much over 6 foot or 200lbs the shower is going to be a tight fit. Not an issue but something to consider. Overall it was a great cabin to stay in. ”

“Such a beautiful, secluded, serene, and relaxing spot. Pictures are accurate, but do not do it justice. If you are looking an escape off the grid that provides amazing sounds and beautiful scenery this is your spot.”

“This was a quick getaway and our first time in the NC mountains. The views were beautiful. We spent our time enjoying the quietness, reading in front of the fireplace and just a lazy few days. The house was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely want to come back again.”

“House has a lot of deck levels and outbuildings. The stone showers were a first! The sauna was great and the deck views were wonderful. Had an issue with the hot tub in removing the soft cover and leaves getting into the hot tub. The owners and manager responded within literally minutes. They sent someone over right away and it was cleaned by the time that we returned to the house an hour later. The fireplaces and the firepit on the deck were wonderful when the temps got down into the 40s.……

“What a great place! Peaceful and quiet. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need. Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we couldn’t hang outside by the fire pit but the screened in porch is a nice extension of the home. The hosts reached out to make sure everything was going well and it was. There is a gas station/cafe around the bend and the cafe has really good food, especially for breakfast. The gas station has hunt brothers pizza and that was good as well.……

“This was a wonderful place to stay during our vacation. The cabin was very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the outdoor spaces around the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked so cooking was easy. Great, location, too! The cabin is in a quiet, rural setting and it was an easy drive to nearby attractions, as well. We would return in a heartbeat!”

“Great view, kitchen & bathrooms have every basic need you'll need ( even had sticks for cooking marshmallows over a fire). Snack station was appreciated. Firepit & firewood was used for smores making. I could've spent all day on the deck listening to the birds. Owner was very diligent during our stay. So much detail went into this home. Only thing was the coffee machine; it had the coffee pot & k-cup components but the k-cup part didn't work. Additionally, coffee machine needed a thorough……

“This is a lovely cabin with a great view. It has plenty of space but still feels quaint. It has a remote feel while being close to all the things you want to do. We were there for my son’s college graduation. Wonderful hosts. Very responsive and friendly”

“With virtually nothing available in Wilkesboro for Floydfest we found this very nice cabin in Todd. 45 min to Wilkesboro but an easy ride and not a dealbreaker. Cabin was very nice, quiet with a nice view of the New River right across the street. Wish I had brought my fly rod!”
