Cost Vs Return

The inside was of the cabin was clean but the bed was super springy. My wife and I had to sleep separate due to this.

Time to catch our breath and relax

This cabin checked ALL the boxes. Awesome vibe in the cabin and walk around the cabin to a creek and walk the neighborhood for fresh air. Absolutely loved it and would stay again next weekend! TY

Great Cabin

Beautiful area

We loved the rustic cabin, had all the amenities needed. Close to shopping, West Jefferson is awesome. Blue Ridge Parkway near, great restaurants. Communication was awesome, price was spot on. Highly recommend.

Quiet lovely property

This is our second time staying here. Very clean, cozy, and convenient between West Jefferson and Boone. Nice stream running beside and back of the property to sit by and relax! We will return!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall great experience and loved the cabin. The only thing displeasing was the amount of leaves that had fallen and had not been cleaned up or blown off of the property porches and entry walkways which made it difficult to enjoy sitting outside. Quite a lot of leaves. Some cobwebs inside as well, but overall clean for our needs

Nice!

Many places are geared towards high occupancy and sometimes it’s hard to find a place for a private getaway. Having two bathrooms was a huge plus! This is the second time we’ve stayed in this neighborhood at different locations. Amazing use of reclaimed log homes one after another. Absolutely beautiful!

The Home in the Woods

If you’re looking for quiet and easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, this house is for you. The house was well stocked and just as advertised. We love the peace and quiet and sitting outside on the porch with a glass of wine in the evening. This is a wonderful comfy cabin, and we would certainly come back.

Great time away

Love the neighborhood and the coziness of the cabin. The rushing creek is fabulous. Aside from a few hiccups, we enjoyed our stay. The property manager was very responsive and helped resolve the hiccups quickly. The cabin was clean, but could use a deep clean. The bed in the master should be upgraded to a queen size.

Most enjoyable!

Cute as a button, rustic look and feel but very clean and comfortable. Everything needed for an easy stay. Creek along the cabin was delightful!!! In a community but felt very private and secluded. Good beds!! Downtown of W Jefferson is a great little spot to visit, don’t miss stopping by for dining, ice cream and shopping. Thanks, we hope to return.

Peaceful getaway

Enjoyed listening to the peaceful creek from the sunroom with the windows open and also the back deck. Nice firm queen bed slept great. Happy to see a step in shower and a comfort height elongated toilet. Sleeping loft looked good for younger visitors. Kitchen worked well, had pod and drip coffee makers. Wish we could have stayed longer. R&B, 70+ year olds

Creekside happiness

It was just as pictured and described. The creek snaked through the neighborhood and could be heard and seen as we walked the dogs. It was clean and inviting with all the conveniences of home. It is centrally located to shopping and sightseeing. There are other cabins nearby but you hardly notice them as they blend into the landscape making you feel like you are alone in the woods. We LOVED it and can't wait to return!

Beautiful creekside comfort.

This beautiful log cabin is tucked off the road , nestled among mature trees and backing to a lovely creek. It is the perfect combination of private and secluded 9n a quiet road with a lovely outdoor space including a beautiful front porch, deck and fire pit, yet it has easy access to West Jefferson and Boone and the sights along the blue ridge parkway. I was able to get in a lot of a hiking and come home and sit by a fire and enjoy the evening. The house is beautifully kept, clean and cozy. I hope to be able to stay there again..
