"My wife and I were in Camrose for a wedding. We arrived at the hotel at 3pm so we could check in, clean up, get ready and be at the venue with time to spare. We went to the room, opened the door and found the room had not been cleaned at all. The beds were a mess, there were mugs in the sink, garbage in the cans and used towels in the bathroom. We went back to the front desk and informed the staff. The front desk clerks quickly went up to the room and prepped it for us. By the time we were able to get into the room it was about 340pm and time was ticking. Our schedule was off but we still made it to the wedding. While our stay at the hotel started on a less than spectacular note I will give kudos to the staff and manager for the way they handled things. Overall the hotel is quite nice, well kept, great location and decently priced. I would probably stay here again because lightening generally does not strike twice."

"I went thru expedia and wanted a room with 2 beds for the week and they told me there were no more vacancies with 2 beds but when I got to the hotel I asked at the desk and they changed my room from 1 bed to 2 beds. Expedia was wrong"

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house and truly enjoyed our time there. The property is spacious, comfortable, and in a lovely setting that made for a relaxing getaway. Kitchen was spacious and well stocked with a grill and lots of bottle water for drinking and cooking. Beds were very comfortable and the Lake House had a huge assortment of towels. There were a few issues worth noting. The hot tub stopped working during our stay and unfortunately could not be restored. We also found accessibility challenging. Several members of our group were older adults, including two people who use walkers. The lack of ramps at the front entrance and back patio, as well as the raised thresholds throughout the house, made mobility difficult. The toilets were also quite low, which may be challenging for some guests.Despite these issues, we had a great time and appreciated the opportunity to stay here. With a few accessibility improvements, this property could be even better!"
