Parking was easy, unit was clean and cosy and as pictured, only downside was the main road traffic noise, otherwise a pleasant and convenient stop off midway between Auckland and Wellington.

The cottage was cute. The amenities were not as advertised. For example, there wasn’t a coffee grinder, the washer had someone’s wet clothes still in it, etc. We had to bring our own sheets and towels (which the host said was a local norm, but we asked a handful of locals who said this was not normal). ...
