A beautiful little studio + a decent sized bedroom….perfect for a small family. Very clean and modern. Situated right next to a JR station, which makes our day trips so easy. Overall, an amazing place.

This was a great hotel for the price point and location. It is less than a five minute walk to the train and about ten minutes to the main shinjuku area. The space was clean and having a washer/dryer in room is a perk. The rooms are small which is not uncommon in Japan - even in 4 star hotels. If you are packing light, accommodating up to 6 is doable. My group and I had 3 suitcases each which made navigating the small space a challenge. We found a way. Just keep that in mind when considering but otherwise, a lovely little spot!!!!

The location is close to trains, food and convenience stores. It was a bit more narrow than expected and luckily it was a second floor walkup. Living room wasn't too clean and the sofa bed was very painful to sleep on. Overall it was a good experience.

The room is really clean and equipped with microware, washer and dryer and stove. It is like living at home. The location is very convenient between 2 metro stations and food and shops are with 3 mins walk. Staff is very well communicated. The one bedroom design is great for family staying. Will definitely repeated when coming back to Japan again.

Our stay at Shinjuku16 was great. Online checkin was easy and the host provided the key codes to get into the main building and room in advance of our arrival. The accommodation was well sized with all the necessary amenities provided. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, water, ice, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and laundry detergent for the in room all-in-one washer and dryer unit. Wi-fi was available as were all the basic kitchen necessities should you want to cook in the room. However, the unit was conveniently located right next to the subway so going out to eat was much more convenient. This was a great place for our stay and we would happily book again in the future!

Great location and not too far from the main hub. 10 min walk to shinjuku station or 1 min walk to okubo if you are in a hurry. Local restaurants and convenience stores within feet of the location. Love the washer and dryer in the unit that is included with the stay. No complaints at all. First floor unit was a bonus for us with 4 luggage. A bit small compared to other places we’ve stayed but it was expected. Overall a great place. Zero complaints.

The location is extremely convenient, just a short walk from the train station and close to Shinjuku, while still being far enough away from the crowds, noise, and constant activity. We stayed for only one night at the end of our trip and wished we had booked a few more days. Compared to a standard hotel room, the biggest advantage is having your own washer-dryer. During our trip, we stayed in several hotels where the shared laundry facilities were constantly busy, making it difficult to do any washing. Having a private machine was a huge convenience. The refrigerator is also much larger than the small fridges typically found in hotel rooms. This meant you could stock up on food and drinks on the first day rather than making daily trips to the convenience store. The property was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. The only minor drawback is the lack of a lift, but this should not be an issue if you are travelling light. Overall, this was an excellent place to stay, and we would gladly choose it again on a future visit to Tokyo.

Great location if you want to stay outside of the busy area at the end of the day. Right next to the JR line with a Family Mart on the way back to your room great for picking up things to fuel you for the next day. Plenty of shops within walking distance as well. A bonus is having washer/dryer in the room.

Die Unterkunft war sauber und hatte eine gute Lage. Die Bahnhaltestelle Okubo war direkt vor der Tür, dafür war es aber um die Unterkunft herum vergleichsweise ruhig. Ein Family Mart war fußläufig in 2 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war gut, man hatte alles was man braucht. Das Apartment hatte einige Gebrauchsspuren und ein großes Minus als Reisende war, dass wir keinen Aufzug hatten. Ansonsten war der Preis wirklich fair und wir würden die Unterkunft wieder buchen. Als ausländische Reisende hätten wir uns auch gerne eine Anleitung zur Nutzung der Waschmaschine gewünscht.
