This place was the perfectly quaint and peaceful place to land after a day full of adventure. It was tidy, cozy and literally a home-away-from-home. The owners were so kind and indulged my kids in letting them help with the horses and hear stories about ranching. This is definitely the place to stay if you're looking for a nice laidback place to relax.
One of the beautiful horses that hangs out in the pasture nearest the rental.
Every morning the chickens scratch around while the sun rises.
New babies! The most precious calves were there when we stayed.

The Perfect Country Getaway

Lovely Stay

Beautiful cabin. We loved being able to walk around the ranch and visit with all of the animals. The hosts were very friendly and inviting. We'll absolutely be back.

Very quiet and comfortable. I loved sitting outside and hearing the roosters crow, the donkey hee-hawing and the goats baaing. I didn’t need much, but, noticed that all basics are provided.

Quite Country stay.

The property and hosts were amazing!! Waking up to gorgeous sunrises on the lanai while sipping your morning coffee in the quite. Horses quietly snickering in the backround. Yep, heaven!!! The hosts were wonderful, they got a new mare and 3 day old foal while we were there. When we got back from our adventures Melissa, the host, asked if the kids would like to meet them. My 2 children 9 & 4 were over the moon. The pups were super sweet too.

Cozy and Comfy

The property was exactly like the pictures. I was unsure if my 2 year old was going to be joining us but Melissa provided movies for him to watch just in case. The property was so fun getting to see all the animals. It was a great experience and would book them again for an out of town trip again.

Great setting in the country outside of Granbury and Glen Rose. Nice, peaceful getaway from the 'burbs. The dogs and horses were very friendly, as well as the owners!

Family Get away

We enjoyed our time here. Our days were spent outside the blistering heat at the Moonshine Festival, Greenwood Saloon, shopping and finally cooling off at Blackie's. The amenities made it easy to come back to cook steaks and play games we brought with the family.
