“This cabin is wonderful. It had all of the necessities and a few touches that made it homey and comfortable. Right next door is the owners market and grill. It has great food and everyone treats you kindly. I love that this cabin is pet friendly (the owner, Peter, has a heart for animals himself). I look forward to staying here again.”

VRBO refused to do anything, said to contact Vacasa. Vacasa ignored multiple texts, hung on me several times. Main Vacasa office at Shaver Lake town center was empty with lights out. Had to leave early as no sink was usable and the place was……

“My family stayed here during our February break for the first time. We wanted to come play in the snow and also have a spacious home to relax in. This house fit the bill! We had cozy fires every night and played board games that we brought with us. We were close to the stores in Shaver and drove to the snow park area everyday (about 15 minutes away). We would definitely stay at this home again!”

“Clean, convenient location, cozy. Easy to get to with 4x4 in snow. Convenient parking. Large kitchen and living space. Will definitely rent this cabin again. There is no clothes washer, but there is a dry. Clothes washer not needed, but shown in the listing and wasn't there when we stayed.”

“Nice layout. Sizable dining and living rooms areas. Bedrooms, bathrooms, closets were nice size. Mud room type area upon entry was great. Nice fire burning fireplace. Some issues with cleanliness in bathrooms, but not terrible. Biggest problem was the fire alarm was chirping and 15+ feet up a wall. No one would come to fix it the first night and I certainly couldn't reach it. It was a terrible sound to deal with all night. Had driven hours and then was very challenging to be able to doze off……

“The cabin is clean and has everything needed”

“We really love the location of this cabin. A short hike to the lake or 10 min walk to town but we did not hear any commotion from the main road. The layout is the perfect size for 4-6 adults. Cornhole and fire pit area are a nice addition to keep kids occupied. The small heater worked well but it was not too cold outside. Stove, microwave, everything you need. I just had to go get matches because the lighter was out of liquid. A potato peeler or pairing knife would would have been a plus but……

“This cabin was great. Location was good, plenty of room, nice and clean, no complaints at all. My kids loved the game room/bunk room combo. We visit Shaver a few times every year to go to the slopes, and we will definitely try to seek this one out again. Thanks for the great stay!”

“While the cabin is a lovely place, we have an elderly family member and a blind family member, the path from the driveway into the house is very muddy right now making it uneven, and the walkway is cracked and uneven leading up to the stairs. So while this house was a nice place to stay, it is not recommended if anyone in your party requires ADA accessibility.”

“This place is located right at the start of town and is close to the lake and hwy to the other reservoirs and hiking/off-roading/fishing spots. It’s 3-levels with the master bedroom/bath and the second bedroom/bathroom all the bottom level. The kitchen living area is up in the second level and a small loft on the third. Located behind the gates in a very quiet neighborhood loaded with gorgeous trees. It was a great place to come back to after a long day out on the lake and exploring. They allow……

“Cute cabin, quiet location. Shaver lake itself is beautiful but unfortunately the shoreline had a lot of trash. Beer cans, cloths, dirty diaper. Very sad and disappointed with the lake area. Just hung out at the cabin and played games.”

“The stay was wonderful, how ever I think the house keeping is not keeping up with making sure to dust the window seals for spiderwebs, found a few spiders in Three rooms one In the downstairs bath were two. One in the bedroom downstairs. One in the upstairs bedroom. I know the house is in the mountains. But other than that our stay was wonderful. The shower with the jacuzzi tub a bit hard to get into to take a shower. My wife had a very hard time getting in. I had to assist her getting in and……
