“Het was even zoeken maar met behulp van de foto' s hebben we het huis gevonden. Het weer liet het niet toe om veel buiten te zitten, maar vanuit de eetkamer hadden we een mooi uitzicht over het dal tot aan het meer. De omgeving was ruiger dan verwacht. Het dorp Serra is een centrale plek voor de omgeving met cafe en mini mercado. We hebben het naar onze zin gehad.”

“Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again.”

“Overall our stay was lovely and the hotel is conveniently located within beautiful grounds. A few things to consider for improvement though; the shower leaks onto the bathroom floor which soaked up the towels every time we had a shower. The bathroom floor therefore became very slippery, which could be quite unsafe if someone did not have fast reflexes (I almost slipped a few times).
