“First off, this is one of the most beautiful, artistic, and distinct hotels I have stayed at. It's right in the middle of everything in Copenhagen (a great city) and amongst the beautiful canals and boats. As a big plus, my hotel room got upgraded to a full apart that was totally unbelievable and fantastic. I'll remember it for the rest of my life. The folks who run this hotel are very serious about making it an outstanding landmark. And it wasn't particularly expensive. Man, I loved……

“Though not 24 hrs reception, there is sufficient support and their staff is nice and helpful. Convenient location and very close to train station and metro. The room is spacious and well equipped.”

I loved the quasi-ecclesiastical brick architecture of the old building, which was built as a seaman's hotel, in hopes of giving the sailor a safe place to stay especially with the temptations in rough Nyhavn of the past. Lovely staff, who went out of their way to help with any number of things. I strongly endorse a stay at the Bethell!”
