「We stayed in the barn at the end of the driveway. It has its own private patio and use of the grounds and pool. The barn itself was clean and well equipped with views across the countryside. The check-in was non-contact which is perfect for me as I'm clinically vulnerable. The welcome box was a nice touch. A perfect, peaceful place to relax while visiting family in the area. 」

Was man wissen muss, ist dass die Unterkunft sehr abgelegen ist und man für Aktivitäten eigentlich immer das Auto benötigt. Dafür wird ein wenig Nervenstärke benötigt weil die Wege teilweise sehr eng sind. Insgesamt aber eine tolle Unterkunft - vielen Dank, dass wir da sein durften.」

「We stayed for four nights in June and were delighted with the facilities provided. One king size bedroom, one double bedroom and a small room suitable for a child (we brought our own crib for the baby). Small details like the stair gate and a few toys helped too. The patio furniture was well used as we had glorious weather. Staplecross is well placed for exploring Rye. Hastings, local vineyards and National Trust properties. We would like to return next year!」

「What a fantastic stay. We chose this property as we needed to vacate our home whilst work was being done, but it ended up so much more than just a place to lay our heads. The location, near the main road was ideal, but actually very quiet, as it was set down a hill. Pauline, the owner, couldn't have been more accomodating, finding extra parking for us and sorting out things very quickly. The location was brilliant, especially for our 2 dogs who loved the peaceful walks in the near vacinity」

「It seldom happens that reality equals the pictures used in the ad for a holiday home. Well, here it surely was the case, and even better: the big garden behind it and the beautiful surroundings came on top of it. Perfect place if you like hiking too, because there are lots of nice long walks in the neighbourhood. The house was clean and tidy and a new carpet had been put in the big bedroom.
