Ju Raku En. It's open from 0700-dusk daily and has a donation tin at the gate for entry. There are chairs, picnic tables and huts scattered around, as well as plenty of rock or grass options to take a seat and ponder life (or bird watch).
It requires jumping a fence and climbing through an old river bed but the view and swim are worth it. Crows Nest Falls are the perfect way to beat the heat in the Darling Downs region.
