The original room that we were meant to Stan had a plastic covering over the fire alarm and a face mask covering that. Also, the phone was disconnected. Water flow to the sink was subpar. Front desk was good but not exceptional. They did move me in my family to another room after I discussed the fire alarm issue.

Room was standard could have used so love and tender care of fixing shower door from leaking water out while showering and clean the strip around bottom door. Air filer in ceiling needed cleaned. Staff need to be more customer service friendly. Milk in morning was gross not sure what issue was they were not expired but had a nasty taste. Location was perfect. Would stay again even with all those issues. But they should be looked into.

Parking was easy; staff was kind. Breakfast opened late so that was annoying since we had somewhere to be. Loved the check-in cookies. The pool was pretty cloudy but seemed okay.

Very disappointed. Would never stay here again.

Not a very welcoming check-in. Was given incorrect information regarding breakfast times. Room 207 is probably the worst room to have. Directly over lobby entrance and window view totally blocked by lobby roof. Quiet room except for doors slamming in the hallway. No room safe and no safe available for use at the front desk. (Asked). Sofa was extremely uncomfortable and desk chair was uncomfortable as well. Refrigerator turned off twice and food was ruined. Asked at front desk and got an “ok” but no one ever came to look at it. Quit trying to use it. So disappointed in our stay and did not come close to Marriott standards. We stayed for 3 nights total using our points and dollars. Made us check out and in each day. Bottom line, would never stay here again. Maybe a B&B next time. Wasted our points and money. A/C was ok. Bed was comfortable. Shower was ok for a tub shower. Closet was big. Microwave worked. Breakfast was ok and service there was good. Elevators and ice machine worked. Bar and staff was good as we went there once. My suggestion is the hotel is ok for one night as a stop on the road or if you will only be using it for sleeping. Otherwise, look elsewhere. Sorry as this is one of the worst reviews I have written. Usually, I just skip a review if it is just and ok place. Like to leave reviews for places I really like instead. Use your points elsewhere as I wish I had.

The first night was great. The next day we discovered that our room had been overlooked. We did not receive any housekeeping services and we had to request new towels for the night, I was there to be with my brother as he laid his wife to rest. When I left for the services I requested management to make sure our room was tended to. I do not know why but the coffee that was served was an abomination. I don't know how anyone could even call it coffee. The breakfast buffet was ordinary with very few choices for meal items to dine on. These things made for an added stress to the visit. My sister in law's funeral and mediocre accommodations. We would not go back to this unit if we ever visit Topeka again,.
