“Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size.”

“We stayed at The Weir House over Christmas and it was honestly magical. The setting is absolutely idyllic — right next to the river with beautiful views of the rapids, Yat Rock, and the little cottages twinkling with Christmas lights on the hill. The house itself is stunning. Spotlessly clean, incredibly spacious, and the beds were really comfortable. The kitchen was so well equipped with every piece of kitchenware you could ever need — the owners have clearly thought of absolutely everything.……

“Positive: location, the peaceful feeling of a country house, the view on the fields and horses, cozy apartment. Room for improvement: all 3 mattresses were sagging/broken, we all basically slept on springs. The radiator of the 2 single beds room was so noisy we had to turn it off. Wifi very weak but I guess it does not depend on the owners.”

“What a fabulous place! A well equipped property with an abundance of necessary items. The beds were nice and comfortable with ample warm covers , also plenty of towels were provided. We didn't experience any problems with the water pressure, but then again, there were only 4 of us staying We loved the walk to the waterfall from the chapel . Our trip to the Afan bike centre took us through the awesome Rhondda valley 😎. So glad we chose this property for our mini holiday. The pool table was a……
