The room was very well decorated and clean. Parking was kinda shady but doable , theres a bar below the hotel but no noise in the room . Very straight forward hotel, will stay again!!!

The room was spacious and beautifully appointed with plenty of towels and kitchenware for our use. I was uneasy about the fact that it was all self-serve. Guests had to pre-register with our IDs in a 3rd party system and we received codes shortly before check-in. But communication via text was responsive and everything went smoothly. Will definitely be staying there next time I'm in Toronto!

Enjoyed my stay at the noir suite. Was decorated beautifully. Hotel is modern, but located in a historical building. Has a unique charm. Very quit and not over busy or noisy. Many amazing restaurants to choose from such as Indian, Ukrainian, Portuguese and Fish n Chip restaurants. Parking was easy and available. Staff sent codes to self-check in. A number was provided if you needed assistance. A fun experience for sure.

Had a wonderful stay in the Bad and Boujie Suite. It was very clean, smelled good too and everything was just like in the pictures! The staff was extremely responsive and helpful. I would diffinately recommend this place for a weekend getaway!

I love boutique hotels and this one is amazing! There are a few steps in pre-checkin, but that’s okay. Totally worth it! We stayed in the “Can’t Even” suite and it is structured more like an Airbnb than a hotel room. The decor was unique, the little dishwasher and kitchen were a huge plus, and the bathroom has a double shower head and removable spout. Beautiful and comfortable and nestled on a street that has some of the most amazing restaurants and other services which made it so easy. This room was in the 2nd floor si the stairs were a short workout. The location and the room were beyond my expectations! I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Great location for strolling around with amazing local markets,, local food and great park areas, we really enjoyed starting our days at local café or breakfast spots,,, now, we did find the staff quite helpful, however the bye Felicia suits counters around the kitchen sink area are completely warped and disgusting, they're literally falling apart from wear, the washroom ceiling is quite moldy, with quite abit of mold areas,, larger bedroom had quite the oder upon arrival which we took care of, but all and all the pictures do not reflect the conditions of how run down the interior is,, overall, not horrible,,, just not a very great experience in the suite itself, we appreciate the staff and the location thank you, but I highly recommend looking into the mold, alot of our items now smell of it as well,,,

Everything was great except the room next to “the beach” had an ac unit or fridge or some sort of electrical unit kicking in with a buzzing noise every 10 mins or so right through the night. Terrible sleep ruined an otherwise great hotel experience.

The hotel was spotless, charming decor and probably one of the quietest hotels I have stayed . The forest room is very small no closets but bed was comfy and bathroom amazing . Not much in the area for restaurants etc but if you need a place to stay and use your car really easy! Parking was as they said it would be .

Great boutique hotel located 20 mins drive to downtown Toronto. Self check in and out but easy to follow via instructions from email. Great communication and efficiency thru email. We will definitely stay there again

The Westlake is a decent affordable option if you're visiting Toronto, and don't mind staying in the suburbs. The time to get into the city isn't bad if you're using public transportation. Parking behind the hotel is extremely tight as is the width of the alley leading to it- be prepared to back in to the space. I parked there the first day then ended up using the lot down the street - with the Green P app the day/night rate is very reasonable. Pros: Communication about the stay was good (contactless so don't expect to see staff), the bed was comfortable, and I enjoyed using the electric kettle provided (I got tea and water at the drugstore across the street). There wasn't a lot of street noise, and the AC / Heat system could be adjusted to my liking. I felt safe and secure in the building and in my room. Overall, my room was perfect for one person. Some of the things that could be improved - you will be sent an extensive agreement to sign. That's okay. But I would have liked a copy of the document to remember the things I signed. It would be nice to get info about how to get into the hotel more than a half hour before checkin, in case my mobile coverage was spotty when I arrived. 24 hours ahead would be nice. And noise does come through between the rooms and the downstairs easily. I got lucky in that the other guests were also very considerate.
