“I have traveled much of the world, and this is the loveliest hotel in which I have ever stayed. Gorgeous restored castle, beautiful grounds, lovely evening, meals on the lawn, and wonderful attentive staff. I cannot wait to come back! All of their rooms appear to be lovely, you cannot go wrong.”

“Had an emergency and had to be admitted to hospital, messaged the hotel to explain and asked if they could kindly move the stay date an extra 24 hours, no cancellation...no empathy, took the money and cancelled the booking....if that's the kind of hotel that they are, enjoy the money, I'm not that desperate....karma will find a way to return the favour ...so the rating that I would give them is.... Really there are no minuses”

“It's a good hotel to stop overnight if you are on the road. There's not much around it, and getting to places (e.g. restaurants) requires a car. But the property is clean and beds were comfortable.”

“Gute Poolanlage, jedoch war der Pool geschlossen. Laut Aussage des Personals erst ab 15.06.26 geöffnet. Leider war keine Info hierrüber bei der Buchung hinterlegt. Frühstück war echt nicht gut. Sehr wenig Auswahl und leider auch nicht lecker. Zimmer waren echt im sehr sehr alten Design. Hatte den Charme einer Jugendherberge. Personal zum Teil echt unfreundlich und wenig auskunfts bereit. Ein Hotel für eine Nacht zur Durchreise. Mehr leider nicht.”

“Purtroppo la camera era davvero piena di polvere, polvere che sembrava posata da 10 anni. La struttura è datata, anche le porte e i mobili lo sono. Ho trovato sporcizia sui muri e nel frigo bar, per non dire armadio e altro. Il servizio è scarso, non ci sono fazzolettini usa e getta, avevano terminato le ciabattine, non ci sono detergenti per lavarsi e le tende non coprono totalmente dalla luce esterna. Mi dispiace perchè il personale è gentile però trovo che nonostante io abbia letto commenti……

“Property was very unique and quaint. Our bed was a little uncomfortable and the walls/floors are a little thin so we could hear other guests easily. Breakfast was good & in a cute little kitchen! ”

“Soggiorno stupendo! Il posto supera di gran lunga le aspettative, sia per la bellezza e cura della struttura, sia per la gentilezza e cortesia del personale. Una struttura perfetta per rilassarsi al massimo, nel silenzio della natura circostante. La camera bellissima curata e spaziosa, la colazione molto soddisfacente. Infine, non per importanza, Raffaella e Massimo sono dei perfetti host, gradevoli, cortesi e super disponibili.”

“Carl, our host went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We had a little trouble finding the entrance to his property and he came and got us on his Vespa. His place is a true oasis set up in the hills with all the most lovely amenities, including oversize patio umbrellas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. He recommended a restaurant in town for us and then let us there on his Vespa cause we looked a little confused. We were only sorry we could spend such a short time. If we do……

“Quando arrivi quasi di notte e trovi un sorriso, un buon piatto per cenare nonostante la cucina fosse già chiusa, un buon letto per dormire, tanto silenzio ed una buona colazione, il tutto ad un prezzo comunque ancora sostenibile visto cosa c’è in giro oggi in tariffe, puoi solo che essere soddisfatto. ”

“It is an old property at an old town, but it has everything. Don’t be blinded by the age of this jewel. It has its charm! Not to mention staffs are like family and things are kept very clean! Price is also impressive. A great choice!”
