The villa, grounds and pool are maintained in perfect condition - just the right combination of old-world charm with modern conveniences. “We stayed at this villa for a month. We had our family of 9 people here for 10 days. The layout with 2 separate apartments was perfect for our group. We had great weather during our stay and so we used the pool (unheated) frequently. The kitchen has all the utensils you will need for cooking, and some spices too. The owners were very responsive to any issues that came up. This is a rustic typical Tuscan villa. It could use additional comfortable seating inside, and it would be great if there was……

Alen, the property manager who checked us in was great; a Cortona resident who provided lots of suggestions. Samantha, the owner was also easy to work with and stayed in communication from booking to departure. Highly recommend property and host. For those arriving by train, I would suggest booking a taxi well in advance as they are difficult to arrange. We booked Saban Salijevic who was great!……

“Comfortable and well maintained house overviewing the entire valley. Lovely terras with grill. Large swimming pool reachable via stairs. Quiet location, about 10/15 minutes to the nearest grocery store and butcher. You definitely need a car. We would love to come back in future. Nice places to visit within max 1 hr drive are Perugia (30 min), Cortona (45 min), Gubbio ( 1 hr). Lake Transimeno only 35 min away. It was the perfect location to stay while venturing out to all the cities and towns that we wanted to see. The train to Florence was only 15 minutes away and it was a quick 1.5 hours to the most beautiful city in the world. The host, Raffaelle, is on property a lot.
