“We were hoping for a holiday cottage in a location where we didn't have to drive everyday to be somewhere interesting. Appledore is a perfect little village/town for a quiet holiday but it still feels alive with plenty of people around and activities going on. We enjoyed seeing locals going out on rowing practices in the evenings - I would love to be this close to the see to have this as a hobby. The location is great, 10 minutes drive from Hartland Quay and approx 30 minutes to appledore/westward ho. After being out all day the hot tub was a nice place to relax!”
