「Most of the other reviews really say it. Its not a 5 star resort and you should not expect that. We had the room with the private pool and it was out of service and drained. This is a historical site which is a lot of fun, originally built by the Dutch sometime before the English took it over in 1666.」

「Clean room & the perfect patio to sit & watch the waves come in. There is also a restaurant on property that was wonderful and were great hosts. Room was clean and AC was strong even though it was a scorcher outside. Check in process was easy and personal. Would stay here again 」

「The location is excellent. Superb views from the water view rooms! You can hear the waves all night long. No need for sound machines! The bathroom is a bit dated. The beds were super comfy! Having a restaurant onsite was convenient. There are beach lounges to enjoy Surfside. We will definitely return!」
