The room was spacious and the decor was beautiful. The location is exactly where you want to be. The staff were excellent and very helpful. I don’t speak Polish but that is not a problem here. And the breakfast included is a must. I hope to return soon.

Exceptional Service and Property

This is a property I plan on returning to soon. Absolutely fantastic service throughout the stay, great accommodations and food. Located in an interesting and historic part of the city, there is much to see and do. My sincere thanks to Paulina for her professional and warm hospitality.

Great Stay

Great stay and staff were really helpful and friendly, only issue we had was that when we arrived we did not have a code for the door but this was resolved really quickly, unfortunately Hotels.com did not pass my mobile number to the apartment so they couldn't send me the code, but apart from that it was a great apartment and definitely stay there again

Great Location in the Heart of Torun

Very comfortable and straight forward. Lots of noise outside on a Saturday night but they were up front about it so no real issue. The breakfast was outstanding

Chleb and Wino provided excellent instructions to enter the apartments. It is located in the center of town, and many shops, cafes, and historical sites within walking distance. There is a restaurant attached to the apartment, and it serves daily breakfast. Breakfast is good. The dinners the restaurant offers are delicious. I would say one downside would be that smokers (maybe from the restaurant? ) congregate at the apartment’s door entrance in the late evening. Trying to maneuver past them, saying excuse me (in Polish or English), the ones I’ve encountered take their time moving. I don’t want to breathe their cigarette or marijuana smoke. Establishment needs to place a non-smoking sign in the area and/or chases away the smokers.

No smampoo/conditioner. Steep stairs

This place doesn't provide shampoo and conditioner, also no wash clothes. Be prepared to climb steep stairs to get to your room. Not fun with luggage. However this place is in the center of old town, plenty of places to eat and walk around.

This property is in a fantastic location and when I am travelling that is probably the most important consideration for me. I walked everywhere! People have noted that there is no elevator and so the stairs are hard to manage with luggage. That’s true but I stayed for almost a week and that didn’t bother me. The breakfast situation is quirky… a mixture of breathless room service (lady suffering the stairs) and restaurant buffet. Very friendly staff and no shortage of quaint character about the place. I felt very at home. The room was spacious with a small kitchen. The bed was fine and the TV worked (but I never watched it). The tiles in the bathroom floor need some maintenance/repair but that’s just par for the course I think and again of no concern to me (but it might bother others). For the price I think it’s excellent value. And especially if like me you are an experienced and robust traveller, I doubt there are better accommodation deals to be had in Torun. Overall super content…. Well done!

Should be in their property description - no elevators. So, if you were on floor 4 like myself, it’s a long haul to drag a heavy suitcase. Otherwise great place and great location.

Miserable Hotelorganisation - miserabler Service

Das war die schlechteste Hotelorganisation, die ich je erlebt habe. Zuerst war die Adresse in Hotels.com falsch, was zum ersten Fußmarsch mit Gepäck durch die Innenstadt führte. Am nächsten Morgen wollten wir wie angegeben in den Frühstücksraum gehen - auf dem Stockwerk war angegeben. Nachdem ich endlich nach mehrmaligem vergeblichen Nachfragen mit der „Rezeption“ reden konnte, erfuhr ich - Frühstücksraum ca. 0,5 km entfernt - also nächster Fußmarsch. Das Frühstück war der einzige Lichtblick in der ganzen Misere. Von dem Personal des Restaurants erfuhren wir, dass am nächsten Tag das Frühstück wieder woanders stattfand. Vom Vermieter keine Info. Auch ein Zimmerservice fand nicht statt. Wir mussten also die nassen Handtüchern vom Morgen, Abends nochmal verwendet.
