"Last 4 years I’ve frequently stayed this hotel since my son in UB. Room carpet was found very filthy & dirty. I’ve chosen this hotel because close to north campus. No improvement been seen in the property and room. I will not recommend anyone to stay here."

"The historic architecture of the hotel is on display at every turn. The restoration work is beautiful, and they way they maintained elements of the old while modernizing the structure makes it an experience to visit. The rooms are very comfortable, with incredibly high ceilings and all updated amenities. The wide corridors, old carved staircase, are offset by modern conveniences. The parking lot was small but we arrived late in the evening and still found parking close to the entrance."

"Upon arrival the area was full of angry people. Fights in the parking lot and a mob in the lobby. There were no clean rooms to be had. No housekeeping staff on the premises. They refused to assist and turned us away. This was the last thing we expected to have happen. We were taken advantage of by other establishments because of the desperate situation we were in. By far, the worst hotel experience ever."

"I had booked a double room with two beds when we checked in we were given a room with one king size bed. When going to the front desk and ask them about it they said they didn’t know why that happened even though it shows on the system, we booked a double. However they were fully booked for the night. After going back-and-forth for a while, we were offered a pullout bed, which is completely painful. After asking if somebody would make up the bed for us, the gentleman at the front desk asked if we wanted him to do it. Apparently, he was the only one working in the hotel. We were not offered a refund for the night. We were told that the next day they will see if they can put us in a different room. nobody bothered to try to reach out to us until we went back to the front desk to ask. This is completely unacceptable as I had made this reservation months prior. When we wanted to check out late, we were only given one extra hour, even though they could’ve made an exception. So we ended up leaving early."

"The bathrooms desperately need updating But overall a nice place to stay as it’s convenient to loads of shopping and eating clean and staff are wonderful !"

"Quite the worst hotel I ever stayed in. What is funny, is I stayed in this hotel last fall and it wasn't bad, which is why I tried again. The guy who works the front desk is rude. Very rude and honestly this is not the business for him. The hotel is dirty. We didn't have towels. The bathroom light didn't work. The room was stank. If you wver have the opportunity to sleep in a homeless dude's tent for $150, or stay at the CenterWay for $15, pick the homeless dude's tent. It will probably be cleaner and he'll treat you nicer. Did I mention the guy at the front desk is unnecessarily rude? There were people leaving the hotel in frustration, even though they already paid, and the front desk worker was heckling them on the way out. I would like to say that at least it was a bed to lay my head on, but I would rather sleep in my car next time."
