“We had an amazing stay! Photos were accurate. Place was clean, beautiful and tranquil! Just what we were looking for. The view was spectacular with the fall colors. We enjoyed some local hikes during the day and when we were relaxing in the evening we could look up and see the sky right from the living room. The host was very responsive. Not that we had to reach out. I did let her know when we arrived as it was mentioned some people had challenges find the place. We used Apple Maps and did not……

“Loved the house, the area and the lake. House is as described, lake is lovely, tons of things to do just at the house and almost hard to leave and explore the area! Our families threw a dart at the map this year for our vacation and we ended up with one of the best trips we’ve had in a long time. Indian and Mountain View Lakes are hidden gems in the Adirondacks and the house is full of history and tradition. Thanks to the owners for sharing this house! ”

“We loved our stay at this house. The location was perfect - lakefront with shallow water at the dock, and a very quick walk to the community beach. Our kids had a great time swimming and playing in the sand. For part of our week-long stay, we had the maximum number of guests (12), and the house was cozy while allowing space for everyone and included amenities for all. There are two large dining tables, great bedroom layouts (at the max, we had 7 kids staying, and they loved the bunk beds and……

“This house is amazing! It's obviously well-loved and well-stocked. It's large, bright, and airy, and all the bedrooms are well-appointed. The kitchen has everything you need (dishes, utensils, etc) and there were plenty of bath and lake towels (much appreciated). We loved the large deck upstairs with its view of the lake and mountains, and the grill worked wonderfully. The walk down to the lake is a bit steep but worth it- we made great use of the kayaks that came with the house, and also……

“We had a wonderful stay. The yard is very private, and the large parking area was great. The firepit was big enough for the ten of us to sit around with plenty of firewood provided. We also enjoyed the hot tub (nice touch with robes, towels, flip flops included) and playing cornhole. The house was very spacious.
