“We had actually upgraded to a cabin, there was nothing wrong with the motel room, the cabin was more what we wanted. The motel/cabins is off a road which leads to the lake through the Lake George Battlefield Park. To go to the village or the lake is downhill and uphill on the way back to the motel/hotel. The beds were comfortable the cabin/motel was clean and spacious. Pool, fire pits and shuffleboard available. We would stay again”

“We had a short, but lovely stay at the Green Door cabin. The cabin is simple but cozy and was clean when we came. The location is lovely, with a pond view and paths around the pond and lake that you can walk. Would love to come back in summer or autumn sometime!”

“The house is very cozy and well located - close to restaurants, grocery, gas and about 20 min to Gore mountain. Furniture, fixtures, etc are a bit dated but overall was comfortable and had what we needed. Plenty of towels, and host provided shampoo, soap etc which many rentals dont have. We did have a few mechanical issues which were generally resolved- host was responsive although its hard to believe they were previously unaware of them. House had a very damp, musty smelling basement that……
