"House is lovely and inviting, just like the pictures. The entrance stairs are a little steep, but manageable. Very spacious, open and comfortable. Great place to spend relaxing. Close access to several state recreation areas for boat ramp. Quaint country store about 3 miles from the house with good food and milk shakes. Will definitely be going back."

"We had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend on the lake! The house was exactly as listed. Plenty of space for all. Tons of amenities to keep us busy, if we wanted. And a lovely deck and lawn to just hang out and enjoy the view. Easy access to launch our boat from a nearby park. And ample space to tie up on the private dock. We took advantage of the excellent fishing Kerr Lake has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet time on the lake but still...

"The house itself was great, well maintained, clean, everything worked. Working gas grill and firewood provided. The Internet service at the house was DSL, very slow. Had a hard time streaming music. The Lake would have some current at times, not all the time. And there was a day with a bit of an oil slick on the water, possibly dam related. We swam and paddle boarded and had a lovely time, nonetheless. We didn't have a boat, that might have been nice for the times when the current was there....

"Spent a long Labor Day weekend here. The home is beautifully situated in a community, with fabulous main lake views. There is just a ton of space for everyone to spread out, both inside and out. We had S’mores around the fire pit on the terrace outback and the kids loved jumping off the second story of the boat dock into the lake. We took advantage of the boat rental and spent countless hours tubing out behind the house. We come to the lake frequently so know to get down to Goat Island to tie up...
