“The positives: The host email was from a management company and were fine. The cabin was very clean. The setting out the front door was looking to the woods and was nice.The negatives: The bed was extremely soft, and although this is subjective, I felt that the quality was definitely lacking. “Everything was great for our stay except for controlling the thermostat. It was set in some kind of hold and we could not get the heat to work on the first night. And of course it was the coldest night of the season- it even snowed. They did send a maintenance guy out to help. He was great. But we could never adjust the temperature in the tiny home our entire time. If there were instructions on the thermostat in the cabin or sent to us it would have been an excellent cabin.”

“We took our 2 daughters and 2 nephews for a weekend getaway. We’ve stayed at The Retreat in various properties a few times, but this was by far our favorite. The booking process is so easy and they stay in communication. The property was clean and gorgeous. We had a great time cooking lunch over the fire pit while the kids ran around and played by the lake. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back!”
