The couple that ran the hotel were so kind and shared lots of information about the area. We felt welcome and really appreciated our stay. The breakfast was good and there was a bar open in the evening, we were able to sit out on the terrace in the evenings. It was close enough to beaches and to Bayeux. Would highly recommend.

A Wonderful experience.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel La Rosiere. Efficient and friendly service, from check-in to check-out. A quiet location and still close to city center and the sea, with a beautiful harbour. The hotel seems to be run by a young couple with an eye for the travelers needs.

Not IN Bayeux but just a quick drive outside the city. A real country feel here with poppy fields in the area. It’s more of a motel than a hotel but Stephan does a great job keeping things up here. The room we booked was way too small but we were able to upgrade for 14 Euros a night. Just snacking choices at the bar/restaurant but it was fine. Breakfast was quite good. The management is the best part of this place. Very accommodating and engaging.

Accomodations were very nice and the staff very pleasant. Only wish we had a refrigerator in the room... we had medications that needed to be kept cold and we needed to find ice to keep them cold throughout the night.

Hotel Roserie has the perfect location for visiting the NOrmandie beaches. It was easy to locate, clean , with friendly staff. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was very good .we would have liked to stay longer.

Very comfortable hotel with good parking, but you will have to drive to nearby beachside town. Like most places in France, does not have air conditioning. We opened the windows at night and were comfortable during our stay in late July.

Nothing that they can change, unless maybe darker drapes. The front door/window faces the direct morning sun. Very bright, even with the drapes closed. Minor issue. Shower controls take bit of figuring out, for a tourist, I guess. And wear socks or slippers. The floor is tile, and cold.
