"The spa and gym area are perfect for the stay. There are plenty of hiking trails to walk to. We exercised, hot tub (outside with beautiful mountain view) and ended with sauna. We were ready to start the day great!"

This property has the best location of the places I've stayed for access to the Center for the Arts, the Majestic, and everything that Elk Avenue has to offer -- yet it was blissfully quiet at night and parking wasn't tight. Perfect.I used the well equipped kitchen every morning and the laundry machines a few times. The mattress in the main bedroom was better than mine at home. The heating system was very responsive. The building well sealed, exactly what you would expect in CB.Questions that I texted to a local service provider were promptly and helpfully answered.Easily recommended."

"We had a wonderful long weekend staying at this apartment. I was in town for a race and the location of this property was ideal for both getting to the early morning start line and to be able to hobble around town easily afterwards. While steps from restaurants, coffee, and shopping, the property was very calm and quiet. The interior was even more spacious than expected and very comfortable for our group. The kitchen is well stocked for any cooking you might want to do and there is plenty of room for a large group in the living area. It was easy to communicate with the host and they left helpful instructions for everything from the check in process to how to operate items in the unit. The outdoor area is very well maintained and there are thoughtful touches throughout including bikes you could borrow. We really had a great stay overall and couldn't recommend this spot highly enough. "

"I can't say enough about our stay at the houses at Academy Place! My family of 15, with 8 adults and 7 children under 10 years old, stayed in the Mariposa, Valarian and Paintbrush houses. The houses were spacious, comfortable and beautifully appointed. There is a lovely courtyard in the center of the group of houses that was great for the kids. The location is within walking distance of all of downtown Crested Butte! And finally the management team were readily available and always helpful with any questions or concerns."
