「Small village in unique position lose to Mt Brandon and the ocean. Access via O’Connor Pass from Dingle. Not at all touristy although lots of walkers and cyclists. Guesthouse has all necessary amenities but it is an old building. Rooms were private and very quiet even though there was trad music in the pub below. Food great.」

「This reservation was a saving grace after a VRBO reservation was ignored by the owner in Dingle. This is a wonderful property and the manager is a gentleman without equal. He was upset at the cost we had been charged and adjusted it to my advantage as it should have been. The room was great and the breakfast was superb. I could not recommend a place more if folks are heading to Tralee.」

「We thoroughly enjoyed out two night stay at Barrow Lodge from the minute we arrived to when we left. Clodagh is an exceptional hostess, giving us the warmest welcome, and really useful advice on where to go for food and what to see. The room was big, clean with a lovely view of the estuary. Breakfast was fabulous. We've been recommending it to everyone since we left as it's a little gem and we'd definitely go back. If you're in the area, stay here!」

「The check-in was an indicator of how the stay would go. We were given room key and told it was straight down the corridor opposite the reception desk. It transpired that the room was almost at the furthest point one could be from the reception area and involved a number of changes of direction and finally a very steep and narrow staircase with literally no landing outside the room.
