About this property

You'll have the entire apartment to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Travelers Rest slps 5 Riverview, near NRG, trails, fishing. NRG, Falls, & more.

The apartment overlooks the Kanawaha River and beautiful Mtns. Sleeps 5. The kitchen has everything you need to cook with and we provide coffee. Beds are complete with Lenin’s and covers. The bathroom has towels, and wash rags, shampoo and soap are provided. We have a Roku tv with cable. We have two beds a queen, and a twin and a couch that piled out into a queen bed with an extra foam mate for the bed. We do not have access to the water. The bank is steep and we do not have steps to the bottom installed as of yet. We have a picnic table on the bank that where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery while you eat a meal if you wish. It is a lovely spot on the River. There are many things to be seen nearby. The River View will provide a great base from which you can explore the great outdoors in Fayette County.
Our guests have gone to The newest National State Park New River Gorge, Hawks Nest, Cathedral Falls, very good trails ask about them, kayaking, fishing, and much more. Many have made a good vacation right here hope you might!
This apartment is upstairs on the second floor just so you know.

Area is beautiful! Loved looking at the river and mountains! Wasn’t crazy about the set up of the house. Was only 2 bedrooms with a sleeper couch and bathroom is off of main bedroom. Easy check-in and communication was excellent.

Stunning view

Cute condo on the river. If you’re adventurous you can pick your way down to the bank. The condo was clean and well appointed. The neighborhood was quiet. The New Spot has the best bologna sandwich and the coldest beer.

Place was a little difficult to find with address in the dark but we found it and it was small and cozy for our quick one night stay during our travels. It was clean and owner comminicated. Our check in and out was pretty simple.

Quick stay

The scenery on the river was beautiful! Upstairs apartment was a bit noisy and not overall very secure. The street at the time was under construction, so it was difficult to access parking with a large truck. Decent for a quick over night trip through town.

Upon arrival front door threshold needs replaced, stairwell needs cleaned, unit kit floor had crumbs on it, coffee pot had old coffee that was molded, couch sinks bad when sitting on it, fridge and freezer needs cleaned, unit has musty smell and sinuses kept running, did not sleep well, tub was stained bad and drain rusted, great river view, exterior needs updating and repairs to siding and window trim needed, had to check out day early due to musty condition. Unit is very aged and needs major update including couch replacement, living room ceiling needs repaired. One side couch has stains.
