Welcome to The Beach House on Long Lake!
We're now accepting reservations for Summer 2024!
The Beach House is a beautiful lakefront home located on Long Lake, in Traverse City’s west side! This generous 5-bedroom home boasts 111’ of sandy frontage for relaxing and enjoying what Long Lake has to offer! Experience Northern Michigan with a private dock, 4 kayaks, SUP boards, and a private hot tub.
Not to mention the sparkling blue water views from all 3 floors of this well-designed home. Offering spacious open-concept living areas, multiple private bedroom suites, 2 stone fireplaces, and, best of all, a gourmet island kitchen.
This Traverse City beach house rental's main level features a guest room, full bathroom, kitchen, and living room. The master suite and additional guest bedrooms are located on the second level. The lower level also features an additional guest bedroom and full bathroom, along with a living room and wet bar.
Our home is 25 miles from Crystal Mountain for golfing and skiing and only 9 miles from downtown Traverse City. We're just a short drive to Northern Michigan's best vineyards. This home is truly the best of both worlds, close to town yet remote and quiet.

Excellent family vacation spot

We just ended a wonderful week at this lovely big house. It was perfect for our extended family with enough bedrooms for all, lovely furnishings in great condition, fantastic views and lots of water toys, an abundance of paper products & supplies, and immaculately clean (thanks Delaney!). The house manager Autumn was so easy to interact with, very responsive and accommodating. This was a great house and a great vacation.

Overall, had a great visit. This was our second visit at this location, and 2 years since last stay under a another owner. The property manager, was outstanding. She communicated well and was responsive to any question. The Housekeeper was great as well and left the place in great shape when we checked in. My comments are as follows: 1.) Hot tub needs serviced and a regular routine. 2.) Door going from kitchen to deck wouldn't latch. 3.) Need to check light bulbs both inside and out. A lot were burnt out and need replacing. 4.) Finally, the final count on the paddle boards-4(four), and the kayaks-3(three) in the shed down by the water. 5.) House is great for family reunion. Your company is easy to deal with and are quite responsive.

Perfect!

Fabulous 70th birthday celebration with grown kids and grands. The house is clean, well-equipped, and offers lots of space. The kids had a blast playing in the lake and the beach front was shallow enough for our three year old. Autumn was sweet and accommodating. She’d even coordinated with our beach equipment company to have umbrella and beach toys delivered and waiting for us

Spacious, beautiful house

Plenty of room, nicely landscaped. Easy communication with host, no hot pads, called and they were brought over. Railing off deck going down stairs outside though is loose, seemed wobbly. Only thing is bring your own soap for showers as no soap is provided for shower/tub area. Truly a beautiful nice location

Wonderful home! So spacious!

This was a perfect home for the week for 7 of us. We even had so much extra space. The new updates not pictured are very nice. Kitchen is very well stocked except there is no garbage disposal & need more dishtowels. Master bath shower was amazing. Great A/C in the entire house also! Location was good for what I know (1st time in that area). Loved the fire pit and dock. Outdoor chairs by fire pit definitely need replaced. Quite a few were cracked and one even broke on one of us while sitting in it. The boats were nice but missing a few accessories but still useable. Hot tub was just ok. The beach volleyball was just a few steps away! Well stocked with linens/towels, etc. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Beach House on Long Lake

The Beach House on Long Lake is a fabulous home on the lake with beach frontage. The home is spacious and a great place to entertain a large number of people. We found the home to be comfortable and clean. The furniture is currently being updated so the descriptions of the bed sizes did not match perfectly with the description on VRBO, some are queen beds and not kings. But all of the beds were comfortable. The new sectional in the basement makes for a great viewing room while the new dining table seats 10 people. While we had a few maintenance issues, particularly related to the spa not working properly and lack of spa maintenance. I can say the management company worked diligently to correct the issues, draining, cleaning and refilling the spa (they are still trying to work out an issue with the jets when we departed. I would recommend the management company work out a process for disposing of the trash in the garage left by previous renters when the weather is extremely warm as the smell can permeate to some of the rooms. The management company was very response and we appreciated their quick responses. I would rent this home again.
