Pro: rooms are very clean and that is pretty much the only positive thing. The building was not sound proof, you hear every step of the people above you since 6 am. WiFi does NOT work. The “roof top restaurant” was closed, no food/breakfast as they advised. We paid 50$ extra to get a “beach view” with balcony, which is on the first floor facing a shed on a mud plain , the water line is far far away. I would not call that a beach. The hotel is a bit far from main area in traverse city, definitely not walkable and nothing interesting within walking distance. And the “beach” is just mud, you can walk about 50 meters each way. Worst part is the older woman at front desk ( Oct 26) is super rude - when we said hello she just turned away without even acknowledging. Definitely would not stay again or recommend it.

Everything was amazing!!! Room was very cozy and great detail went into the design for comfort. Blush restaurant had amazing food. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. This was a quick decision for a one night stay and it did not disappoint. Views were also amazing!!!

The room is very nice and clean. Great view of the Lake. Parking was perfect. The cookies in the evening were a great perk. The only complaint we had was the spiders outside on the deck. There are so many spiders that we couldn’t enjoy the balcony. We even went to store and purchased bug killer. It helped for a day but the spiders came back. They need to hire an exterminator. Hotel is great though. Perfect location.

Very uncomfortable bedding so much so that we checked out 1 day into our 2 day stay because we were unable to sleep. Balcony was very small and closed off. Lastly hotels private beach is very small and unattractive compared to nearby hotels

My partner and I stayed at Alexandra Inn for a weekend getaway and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The grounds are beautiful, the beach is quiet and the rooftop restaurant has delicious food and excellent service. Highly recommend!
