Off season. They had plenty of rooms. Indoor pool and hot tub was good. Clean but average motel room. Parking right by our handicap room was nice.

Frankfort is a beautiful area and the Harbor Lights Resort was the best place we could have stayed. Our condo was spotless clean and very comfortable with the fireplace and jetted tub. We had a great view of Lake Michigan and Lake Betsie from the very large deck. The staff were absolutely wonderful. There was construction at our condo during our stay (of which I complained about). They offered to find us another unit or reduce our total price for the inconvenience. The restaurants in Frankfort were fabulous. We rented bikes and rode along the Betsie river. Absolutely wonderful I’m not sure why we have never been to Frankfort before, but it is definitely one of my favorite places in Michigan

We had the king suite and it was amazing! Great kitchen and living area fully stocked including games and books. Large balcony with views of the lake. Enjoyed the fireplace on a cold rainy day. Pool and hot tub area were very nice. Doughnuts available every morning. Easily walk to the beach or downtown shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Close to the beach. Clean, updated room with good sized mini fridge, microwave, and TV. Hot shower with good water pressure. Comfortable bed. Walkable to the restaurants of Frankfort. Great biking trails. Decent coffee and love those doughnuts!

Been to Northern Michigan but never to Frankfort and wanted a place by the water. Took a chance on Harbor Lights and it was a winner. It's just the two of us (we're retired) so we stayed in one of the motel rooms with no direct view of the lake but it was right around the corner and only a minute or two from the water. Convenient for a couple of picturesque sunsets! It was a slightly longer walk to the small downtown which has a few nice restaurants. We would definitely stay there again!
