The stay was excellent, lobby, restaurant, coffee bar were all great. It is old, and the rooms could use an update, but was very clean and nice. TVs are outdated, definitely would bring a Roku stick the next time I stay.

If you are looking to be in the middle of nowhere this is a great place. Clearly amazing if you are a golfer(I am not). Staff is very sweet and helpful. I think the company needs to a better job of a map of the grounds. Is there hiking trails? How does one get there. What can you do during the summer? There’s very little food options and even in the closer by towns. The hotel needs to be upgraded it very much appears to be built and still in the 1980s. Over all quiet escape but just wish there was more.

The indoor hotel corridors are in desperate need of better signage. The place is a huge maze. Rooms could use upgrading and room service would be nice. Also was surprised by the lack of a small store besides what could best be described as a depleted pantry in the lobby as the only option especially given the fact that the property is located quite far from any nearby store. The outdoor pool was beautiful & clean and the views stunning, but the ability to purchase drinks was quite a hike to the only restaurant bar and another maze to navigate!

I have a couple of contructive comments. Our stay was wonderful. When it rained, it looked like some of the gutters were clogged so that on one or two of the rooms' awnings over the little decks were flowing like waterfalls! Not ours. Another thing was a constant "beep.beep.beep" from what sounded like some kind of alarm (not super loud) but you could hear it 24 hrs each day . Just concerned it might have been a moisture detection alarm like we have in our basement...BUT...I have very keen hearing, so ither guests may not have notice. My wife and i enjoyed the Happy Hour and the dinner were very tastey with helpful abd friendly waitstaff . The check-in staff was excepcional and recommended that we purchase sunscreen nearby at Dollar General because of the extremely high temps. Thanks....we will definitely return and recommend Lakeview Hotel...unbelievable view of Lake Bellaire. Incredible sunset views! Thank you! Leo Lemery Room 319 June 29-July 1, 2026...
