“Avons réservé une chambre dans ce bel établissement authentique de Dordogne. Avant de partir de Bordeaux, j’ai appelé pour savoir s’il était aussi possible de déjeuner, grand bien m’en a pris car notre déjeuner foi gras et cœur de canard était juste un régal assaisonné comme nous apprécions. Puis avons été accompagné à la chambre. Une chambre certes petite (mais cela était bien dans le descriptif) et refaite à neuf où rien ne manque (serviette savon etc etc). “The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats.……

“It is a unique property, very central from beautifull places in the Dordogne. They serve the best brunch ever. And Lola is the best cook in the erea. We start with a perfect yogaclass just to slowly wake up. The owners of Le Clos are beautifull people with a perfect place at the perfect location. I love to come back. ”

“A lovely family run hotel with attention to detail and great service. Great location, with a super pool (great for kids). Beautiful views across the hillsides. Breakfast was delicious and very fresh. Friday night BBQ and live music was a lovely experience. We visited a local Thai restaurant on Friday evening, as recommended by the hotel - they weren’t wrong. It was really tasty and the service excellent. All in all would highly recommend and would love to return to Hotel L’Abbaye!”

“This is a charming and elegant facility with a friendly, helpful proprietor who went out of his way to provide a comfortable and pleasant stay. A couple with two to four children would feel like a royal family here. Low-to-the-floor beds and lack of adequate storage space were a bit awkward for two older ladies in what would be the children's room. All in all, a delightful experience.”
