“Literally nothing about the place is worth the cheap price. Be ready for roaches galore, loud neighbors and staff that’s more concerned about kicking you out and doubling their money on a room than any kind of “service”. The “pet friendly” motel waited 36 hours to decide to enforce their pet deposit and fees and when we told them the desk never told us about any such charges immediately called the police and had us put out. PAY A FEW EXTRA DOLLARS AND GO ELSEWHERE !!!! Trust me”

“Just got back yesterday from our stay at the Clarion Hotel, the hotel lobby is very beautiful, the marble floors are state-of-the-art, it appears that a lot of thought was put into the design of the lobby.The hotel staff was very friendly. When pulling up to the hotel, it was aesthetically very pleasing. The breakfast was great, it would have been nice to have an alternative meat since we don’t eat pork, but otherwise than that, it was wonderful plenty of choices of things to eat, from cereals,……

“The rooms had very little lighting, floors had so many gouges you couldn’t go without shoes because it would cut your foot, sink is so large there is no space on the bathroom vanity, blow dryer won’t even dry your hair, iron was broken into pieces, iron board was torn into pieces, the smell of mildew was bad.”

“Such a great retro motel! All the decorations were reminiscent of the 70s but in a super cool way. The rooms were simple bit modern. We loved this place! It was like stepping back in time when everything was just a bit simpler, more relaxed, and all around better! Will definitely stay here again!”

“We were in town for an event and only had a one night stay. Everything about the Inn was a delight. We were made to feel at home by the staff from the first moment as Tracy gave us a tour of the amenities and showed us to our room. The homemade ginger cookies in the break area were yummy. Breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented and the fresh biscotti were a delight. Our room was comfortable and the little touches like a fresh bottle of water were notable. We look forward to returning for……

“Room was clean, spacious and quiet! Staff was excellent and checkin was quick. Breakfast was good. Love the grits and that banana bread; reminded me of my grandmothers. Will definitely be back and next time I will be bringing my bathing suit. The pool looks so good and they have the lounging chairs I can relax in! My new go to for my work trips to Kinston.”
