The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because of the bugs. They weren’t there at the beginning of our stay I believe the cleaning lady would have the door open and they entered as the days went by. The staff was nice, some spoke English which was a plus. Breakfast was amazing! The amenities were fun for all. The view was spectacular. The props for photo taking was a plus as well. The bathroom shower and sink set up could have just been basic but they tried to make it futuristic and modern with no basin and a shower head that was supposed to be a rain fall but epic fails lol. At least for my room. My friend’s rooms had options. If you’re not booking the suite make sure you can walk up and down hills and steps it’s pretty steep there. Overall nice property.

The hotel property is as advertised. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a nice variety, with healthy options and the view is stunning! Highly recommend this property. There is a 15 min drive up the mountain.

Everything initially looks like the photos, but once you get into the details, the experience is not as special as expected. To start, I preordered a heart-shaped flower arrangement to be on the bed upon arrival & there was nothing there. We stayed in room 5, & because the hotel does not have tempered glass windows, the glass was extremely thin. The windows shook loudly throughout the night due to trees & bamboo hitting them, to the point where I genuinely thought they might break. Cold air constantly came through the cracks in the glass, creating a nonstop whistling noise making the room freezing. The staff did kindly bring us a second blanket when we asked. The glass balcony feels very unsafe if you even rest your arms on it, it feels like it could give way. The door also would not lock; reception attempted to fix it, but it never worked. There was only one outlet in the room, so even two people charging phones had to take turns. The jacuzzi was not on when we arrived. It took over an hour to turn on, another hour to heat up, & after about an hour of use, we were asked to get out so it could be turned off. The complimentary breakfast was very disappointing everything was cold & extremely slow from ordering to receiving food and drinks. There were cobwebs and dead bugs in the bathroom and room corners. The reason Im giving three stars is because room service did come daily (light cleaning), the front desk answered immediately when contacted & the staff overall was sweet

The view was phenomenal and worth it. My room had windows in the ceiling, and it was a full moon when I was there. When I woke up in the middle of the night I looked outside and the lake was lit up and a rare and beautiful sight. I wish I could've stayed longer. Be aware that this place is high in the mountains. To get to the rooms will require a lot of walking down and up stairs. Not for weak knees or people who can't walk long distance. I might have brought my elderly mom here, luckily she is in good health but still something to know if you're coming here. Perfect for couple's retreat! Well worth it! The staff was attentive and in great shape, I believe it comes with being part of the gig.

I have very mixed thoughts about this place. The service you receive depends on the staff member - both great attention and other times it was so-so. The good: the location is gorgeous - you cannot ask for better picturesque places in the area. The property concept is also beautiful and very well integrated into its surroundings. The included breakfast was good. Upon arrival, the attendant assisted with my bags as the terrain is pretty tough to carry luggage around in. The not-so-good: I was not aware that a lot of Uber drivers consider this area pretty remote. I wish I had known this because I almost missed my flight to the airport. Luckily, one of the staff members assisted me in finding a private driver. On one occasion, I ventured off to a small town where I was almost stranded due to the same issue - called the hotel and while I made the mistake of calling their room service number, the woman who answered said she would connect me to someone who would help. No one ever called me back - that was very disappointing. Food was hit or miss - some was good, some was questionable. Twice, I found hair in my food. The chicharrones tasted bad- I couldnt get myself to eat more than a bite because I was afraid to get sick. The cheese they use for pupusas was different than I’m used. Lastly, I came home with a ton of bug bites. They really need to perform extermination in the rooms. I found a brown black widow my son pointed out, so I killed it. I wanted to love it, but….

I reserved a room for 1 night thru Expedia and paid $156 dollars. I’m landing in El Salvador at 9pm so I told my wife to do the check in since the website says the check in is until 8pm and then they charged my wife extra $20 dollars for it. They said if she doesn’t pay the money the whole reservation was going to be cancel so she paid extra $20 dollars. Nice rooms but shady customer service, my wife felt they were taking advantage of her. Won’t stay there anymore.
