I had an amazing stay at Tres Piedras. From the moment you arrive, the property feels like a private hideaway in the hills, with Lake Ilopango stretching out in front of you and the mountains in the background – the view is honestly to die for and easily the highlight of the whole experience. Whether you are by the pool, on the terrace, or just relaxing in your room, you’re constantly looking out over the lake, which makes the place feel super peaceful and special.
The hotel itself is modern, clean, and very comfortable, with stylish rooms, good air conditioning, and all the basics you need to relax. I really appreciated the quiet environment and the feeling of being surrounded by nature while still being close enough to the city and main roads to get around easily. The staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to assist and make sure you were enjoying your stay. If you’re looking for a place near San Salvador where you can disconnect, enjoy an incredible view, and still have the comfort of a nice hotel with a pool and on‑site dining, Tres Piedras is perfect. I would definitely come back and I highly recommend it, especially if you care about scenery and a relaxing atmosphere.

Clean room, Enjoyable pool, excellent staff, gorgeous lake view, poor kitchen services, close early at 7pm there’s nothing else to eat in the resort, if you order room service the food is going to be cold, the beef steaks are going to be over cooked or super well done and hard as a car tire or a chancleta, poor toilet water pressure, the bathroom sink is inconvenient, only two towels no towels for the pool.

Clean modern room, the views from the room were spectacular, along with the views from all areas of the hotel. The staff was the friendliest, most professional staff out of all the hotels we stayed in El Salvador. Definitely worth the drive up. Room and hotel area 5 out of 5. The only con was some guests stayed up late in the jacuzzi, they were pretty loud late into the night. Other than that it was perfect.

This place is gorgeous, a mix of nature, beauty and relaxation. You can be laying down on your bed watching the lake and natural beauty without having to move. Or you can enjoy your coffee or dinner on your own balcony with the view of the lake below. If you need to just relax and enjoy nature with a side of luxury this is the place. The Restaurant is also beautiful with the view of the lake while you enjoy delicious food. And if the beauty of this place is not enough their people are also amazing, super sweet and friendly. My husband and I had an amazing time and will for sure be coming back with our children and their spouses.
