The queen bed in the "Queen plus Twin" room is... very squeaky. Other than that, we loved it here. The breakfast is truly delicious, and made to order!

This was a comfortable stay. The suite was cozy. The common area with the tv and board games was a hit with the kids. Mike is a lovely host.

We arrived after 9pm. Mike was so kind and helpful in showing us where to park and taking us to our room. The room was lovely and clean. It had a kitchen, which we did not use. Breakfast was exquisite. Mike was an excellent host and we would definitely go back.

The room was nice and cozy! The people are what made this stay so nice. Mike and his lovely wife created such an enjoyable, friendly atmosphere for everybody! Really enjoyed our stay in Cuchara! Haven’t been to such a friendly town in a long time, can’t wait to go again!

I was initially unable to find the location according to the GPS. When I finally was able to able to contact the proprietor, he gave me inaccurate instructions to find the property. Once I met him, he was in good pajamas (at 7:30 at night). He was cordial and friendly. The room he showed me to smelled old and musty. When I went to shower in the morning, there was no hot water. I timed the hot water faucet running for more than ten minutes and it never warmed up! So I couldn’t even take a shower! I will never return to this property.

We had a little difficulty findind the place. It was located up a side street, and the sign was hard to see. Other then that the owner was a friendly guy, showed us around.

The perfect stay!
This is one of my favorite stays ever, the town is a block long, and absolutely beautiful. You can just park at the BnB and walk to everything, you’re right on the creek and the owners are absolutely wonderful people. They have nothing but kind and helpful things to say, they’re ready to help with anything you could come up with. I have a gluten allergy and they were so kind and welcoming! We went to the cuchara mountain park from their recommendation and had such a peaceful time there! If you’re looking for a quiet home away in the mountains, this place is amazing!
