Great stay!

We love this very clean, accommodating and fun house and all it has to offer. Great bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living area. We travel with pets and it’s perfect. Very clean and has everything you need. Looking forward to our next stay!

Southern Colorado trip

Enjoyed our stay. Unique little house that was conveniently located near everything we needed. We spent most of our time away from the house in the mountains except at night, quiet neighborhood.

Fun cottage in a peaceful street close to stores and restaurants

The cottage is full of fun decorations and has everything you need. It’s very close to shops and stores but the location is quiet and has a good neighborhood feel. We had great food in town.

Very Cool Funk House

Great 420 hangout! The decor alone could keep you occupied for hours. Enjoyed the extra large soaking tub more than once and highly recommend.

This was our second time at this property and it didn’t disappoint. Clean, beds comfortable and close to the shops on Main St. Kitchen has everything you need. Owner provides good coffee/ tea. Good neighborhood to walk dog.

Fall Road trip

This is a fun property. It has great facilities. The tub and lots of hot water after a long day oh yeah!! It's close to restaurants and the hiking in the area is good.

Relaxing stay in Trinidad

The home was just as described. Beds very comfortable I slept like a rock. Kitchen has everything you need. Front porch is a plus and neighborhood nice to walk dog. Views are amazing! Will be staying here again.

Quirky and Comfortable--Loved It!

Beautiful decorating touches; everywhere you look, something interesting to look at. House was comfortable, clean and spacious. Host was quick to respond to questions and gave good recommendations for places to eat. Wife loved the great soaker tub. This was our first time staying in this cute house, but we will definitely be back!

Girls trip

The house was perfect for everything we needed and more! We were able to enjoy Trinidad and everything it provides. Being able to cook Dinner and chill inside on the cold nights was such a bonus. The house is very nice while still being eccentric! We would definitely book again.

Great host!

We loved the house and Randy is super friendly. It’s definitely 420 friendly, and since we’re not 420 partakers, it was an adjustment to the nose. But nothing unexpected and didn’t affect the stay.

Good value and convenient location

My husband and I and our two Basset Hounds stayed for a few nights. The host is very flexible and accommodating. The neighborhood is conveniently located next to restaurants. I walked my dogs around the block several times and also went on a run from the house. The house had all of the convenient amenities, and we enjoyed all of the flair.

A nice peaceful anniversary

My wife and 2 pups had a great stay here. This is actually the first place we stayed at where we could tell our 2 miniature Dachshunds were comfortable. The quaint nature of the house fit in perfect with the small town it is located in. We planned to adventure out but we were too busy napping in the cozy house. This place may be a favorite. The tub took a little finesse to fill with hot water but it was well worth the effort.

Escape to Trinidad

We absolutely loved the house. The pictures were accurate, it was welcoming and reminded me of our family cottage. The beds were very cozy and the neighborhood was quiet. The house is just a couple of blocks up, off Main St, so walking to downtown is a must. We loved being able to park and walk. Waking up to snow was also great, since we came up from Texas. It would be nice if access to the backyard was available. Such a cool space! We would definitely stay here again. Randy was very helpful with all of my inquiries, a great host indeed! And has a great sense of humor. We especially loved going to Sita’s Kitchen, a lovely couple own it and they have great vegan food. (And, we’re not vegans!)

Fun and Homey Bungalow

Our family Christmas stay was joined by our daughter and newlywed husband from LA. My wife and I traveled from Austin, TX. Our son lives in Trinidad with his girlfriend so they joined in the fun but slept in their own home nearby. The home is nicely decorated and the two bathrooms are so cool with a 5 star like walk-in shower w/two heads in one, and a huge tub with modern fixtures in the other. Both are also appointed with luxurious shampoo, conditioner and bath wash dispensers. The washing machine and dryer are also brand new and full size for easy washing. The extra large sumptuous white towels are plentiful throughout both baths, too. Our only dissapointment was the lack of kitchen "metal" utensils, instead of the flimsy plastic type which makes it hard to cook gourmet meals for 6 people. There was also no tongs of any kind to handle hot items when turning food in hot vegetable oil for meals I prepared like enchiladas, tacos, lasagna and a full turkey dinner with all the fixings. We could have also used a much larger pyrex dish for my enchiladas and dressings. Larger measuring cups too! The master bed was very comfy for me and my wife. The other bed not so much for my son-in-law who is 6'2. The wooden floors are old and creaky, but I like them that way. So the house can be a bit loud if you need more privacy and/or a light sleeper. BTW, we checked in on Saturday, December 23rd and checked out on December 28th. All in all, a great stay. We'd like to stay again!
