“We have just spent a lovely two weeks here, the Gite was just what we were looking for and the weather was fine also. The owners were extremely welcoming and so kind, you couldn’t wish for more. I would say that the photos on the site were probably from a few years ago, but everything was as it said. There are things to do and find, even a little trip to Belgium to ride the Crocodile bus / boat. Also note the bed downstairs is extremely comfortable and the house was very clean. Yes it is……

“Prima huisje om een weekje in te verblijven. Het is wel altijd behelpen met koken en dergelijke. Je mist altijd wel wat. De douche is erg klein bemeten. Omdraaien of voeten wassen vergt lenigheid. Maar het meest heb ik mij verbaasd over de sauna. Die zit aan de straatkant, zonder afscherming en douche. Het straatje loopt op anderhalve meter van de sauna dus hoe dan ook kom je mensen tegen die buiten lopen als je de sauna in en uit gaat. Een sauna is bedoelt om naakt in te verblijven. Nou maakt……

“De woning is gelegen in een prachtige omgeving, wat zonder twijfel een groot pluspunt is. Helaas voldeed het huisje zelf niet aan onze verwachtingen. Bij aankomst was de woning niet verwarmd, wat op zich geen probleem hoeft te zijn. Door een slecht functionerend verwarmingssysteem duurde het echter maar liefst 6 à 7 uur voordat de woning op temperatuur was. Daarnaast waren de matrassen erg hard, wat het slaapcomfort aanzienlijk verminderde. Ook parkeren bleek problematisch. Vooral in de avond……
