“Op zich een prima huisje, heel ruim park en genoeg te doen in de omgeving. Enige minpunten waren het enorme kraken van het huis, elke stap die je zet liet de vloer kraken, vooral snachts met kinderen best wel storend, en de redelijk kale aankleding van het huis. Ok, alles wat je nodig hebt is wel aanwezig, maar bijvoorbeeld een mat bij de voordeur zou fijn zijn en een hoop vuil in het huisje voorkomen. Al bij al toch een goed verblijf gehad.”

“We have just spent a lovely two weeks here, the Gite was just what we were looking for and the weather was fine also. The owners were extremely welcoming and so kind, you couldn’t wish for more. I would say that the photos on the site were probably from a few years ago, but everything was as it said. There are things to do and find, even a little trip to Belgium to ride the Crocodile bus / boat. Also note the bed downstairs is extremely comfortable and the house was very clean. Yes it is……

“Beautiful and atmospheric house, conveniently situated at just walking distance from the city centre of Chimay, shops and supermarkets. Each room has its own identity and bathroom, as well as a TV and coffee/tea making facilities and toiletries. It was great the beds were made and there was no need to bring towels. The kitchen is a bit old but fully equipped. Great garden, unfortunately we could not enjoy it as we had bad weather :-(. Recommended!”

“Nous avons passé un très bon week-end, maison très propre et avons été bien accueilli par Frédéric et apprécié les échanges avec Laurent . Cependant quelques petits points à soulever ! La porte fenêtre de la véranda très difficile à ouvrir . Les chaises dans la véranda arrivent en fin de vie ! Nous avons regretté de ne pas avoir un salon de jardin avec quelques transats afin de mieux profiter du jardin . La cliche de la porte vitrée de la chambre à l'étage ne fonctionne pas de l'intérieur ; si……
