“Good location for a stop over stay on the way back to UK. Staff were helpful and friendly. Looks to be a brand new hotel, everything was in great condition, very clean and tidy. Negative points were that the bar was not open (not sure if it was just the night we stayed) and there seemed to be very limited number of staff. Secure car park was £15 per night, which is a bit steep (and there is no free alternative), plus the gate had to be opened manually by staff, which was a nuisance. Overall……

“The staff were lovely and helpful. The room was adequate for our needs. There was a smell of cigarettes lingering in the room which was a bit off putting, but the beds were comfortable, so we had a good nights sleep. ”

“Great location for a quick stopover. Clean rooms, easy breakfast, free coffee. Short 30 minute stroll to cathedral. Afternoon/Evening receptionist was very helpful.”

“We booked an ‘arty’ room, really comfy bed and nice & quiet. Secure overnight parking, ideal stop off point from France to UK. A little out of town but if it’s just a rest stop you need then it’s ideal. Really nice bar area, super dog friendly & nice food served in the restaurant (opens at 7pm and food isn’t available before that, although the lady behind the bar kindly heated us up a pizza as we were ravenous!) The service in the restaurant was slow, an hour’s wait between starters &……
