“If you wish to stay on a lovely small houseboat in the beautiful turquoise water of a quiet island this is it. The resort restaurant is a two minute walk with great Bahamian cuisine. Fresh fish and other choices. The continental breakfast is truly a full fresh breakfast. Everyone knows you and wants to help you. There are fishing tours readily available and we spent a good Part of the week hiking about and lying on the empty beaches. Lots of sailboat cruisers around to chat with and other areas……

“We really loved our stay! The host was awesome and communicated very well. We even got to check in a bit early which was so nice after our all night flight. The beach nearby was amazing and we walked there each morning. The house was perfect; it was so nice to have the kayaks and other beach things. My son loved the skim board. It was also very handy to have the washer/dryer so we didn’t have a ton of laundry upon returning home!”

“This house was perfect. The photos do not do it justice. It was clean, new, and well appointed. Better in person then in the pictures! Very spacious and well maintained. The bathrooms were huge, washer and dry functioned well, all appliances were great. Beds were comfortable. It was perfect for our family of 4. The views of the bluest water are amazing!!!. The pool was great and sharing it was not a problem. The owners were so attentive and helpful. They even came and helped us with a flat tire.……

“Everything was lovely, very neat, and the check-in process was easy. The house was clean and conveniently close to the airport. Indirectly deducted half a star due to the WiFi not functioning despite multiple resets. Areas for improvement: • WiFi (did not function despite multiple resets and verification by the housekeeper) • Grill (a small boat grill that was difficult to use, and the gas was initially empty, but the owner, Mrs. Sandy, quickly resolved and replaced it) There’s a nice walk……

“I booked a stay at Bluepoint Villa for myself, husband, 8 year old son, in laws, parents, brother and his fiancée - 9 of us total. We had never been to the Bahamas before, so had no idea what to expect. Everything about the description of this house is accurate and even above expectation at times. The house views are INSANE, the colors vibrant, the vibes immaculate. The location, and pristine beach are unmatched. We kayaked to Turtle island to explore on the calm days, we spent lunches and happy……

“Family-friendly in every way, off the beaten path, quiet, secluded piece of AMAZING!! Had everything we needed, and right on the water, with a small "aquarium" that entertained my 10yr old for hours. I will stay here again, and again, and again!!”

“We loved sitting on the edge every morning and seeing the sun come up. We cooked delicious meals everyday in the kitchen and the ac kept us cold at night, loved that we had hot water in showers. “The property is in a great location and we really enjoyed our stay. I can't give it a 5 star rating though due to the fact that it is advertised as a 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath and we were never able to use the 3rd floor bathroom due to the low water pressure. I know this is not the owners fault, but it really should be advertised as a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath. We were able to take a shower outside where there was an outdoor showerhead. It would be nice if there was some kind of enclosure for the……

“Tar Bay is the best place to stay on the island. There is a beautiful long white sand beach for daily walks. There are several grocery stores within a 5-10 minute drive and the water is clear and beautiful - perfect for floating! The house is an older house but is well maintained and has everything you need in the kitchen. It was clean and really appreciated having a washer and dryer for our use complete with detergent so we didn't have to buy our own. We had a few very minor issues and the……

“Can’t beat the location and beach access. Very cozy and private.”

“Everything you need, if a little dated. Good beds and furniture, well equipped kitchen, large fridge. There are beach chairs and umbrellas, good out door furniture. We thought it was on the beach, but is about 3 mins walk away. The best beach in the Caribbean and Sandy’s bar on the beach really makes it! Internet and wifi very intermittent and power goes out often. The road in is rough but doable, main shopping in Georgetown, and Santanas bar is a good local place not far away. ”

“We were greeted by someone when we checked in. Very friendly and great experience. The space was spacious and comfortable. Loved the screened in porch for meals and just enjoying the view of the ocean. Convenient location was close enough to town to walk, however we rented a car for our stay. Overall great experience and will definitely look at booking here again next time we visit the island.”
