“Great place ”

“Overall wonderful stay at San Ignacio. This was my third or fourth time staying at the hotel and all stays have been excellent! ”

“The property was clean and well kept. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay this is not it. It is located on a busy road with extremely loud traffic all day and night. Ear plugs were provided but were useless. I'm happy thay my stay was limited to one night as I require quiet enjoyment in my lodgings. Parking was also tricky and the rivers and gardens mentioned in other reviews were non existent. This property is 2 hours away from San Jose……

“Breakfast was great! Hospitality was absolutely top notch. The pool is very clean, the water is colder than expected. Having no A/C is a change, but the area is not as warm as la fortuna. Great place in the middle of everything. ”

“The room was very clean. Had all your basic amenities. Everything you’d need to feel comfortable during your stay. The staff is incredibly friendly & welcoming. They were helpful with any questions we had & recommending food & activities in the area. The animals on the property were an added bonus. Very sweet dog, cat & donkey that you can also interact with. The breakfast was traditional Costa Rican style. Eggs, rice & beans, plantains, with a side of toast & fresh fruit. Overall the property……

“Cindy, the owner, was an excellent host. Very proactively engaged in our experience from the day we booked. The bungalows look into the forest and dining pavilion were new, modern, and well equipped. Cindy is also the chef, and serves and excellent breakfast and dinner. She also arranged activities for us, which was fabulous. The beds were comfortable and large, with an outside deck. The location is remote (which is the point of booking - for that tree canopy experience) and windy drive, so……

“Der angebotene Flughafen Transfer war bestens organisiert und gut beschrieben so das man sich schnellstmöglich fand. Die Unterkunft ist schön gelegen und der Empfang der Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir bekamen tolle Tipps für die Umgebung von der Gastgeberin. Wir kommen gerne wieder.”
