“Comfortable, clean, and convenient location in downtown Statesville. We were in town for the Carolina Balloonfest and to visit some local wineries, so the location was great. Other guests were there for the Carolina Renaissance Festival which is just 30 miles south. Cheryl and Jason are warm people and pleasant hosts. The inn itself is historic and furnished accordingly. The breakfast is continental, which might be a concern for some potential guests but was not for us. We will definitely stay……

“This property was so clean! The bed was super comfy, the room very spacious with lots of light. The closet with slide out bins was a nice touch. All of the staff I interacted with were so nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend stopping here!”

“The pool is out of order. I have an autistic 6 yr old who waited 10 hrs on the drive to go to a pool I had to cancel because the website did not notify that the pool is out of order ”

“We checked in late and found stains on the toilet. When we got off the elevator on the third floor, the hallway smelled like smoke even though this is supposed to be a smoke-free facility. The pool wasn’t working, the breakfast was very poor, and the property overall feels very run down. This was my first time staying at a La Quinta, and based on this experience, I likely wouldn’t stay at any La Quinta property again.”

“The property was clean and quiet. The suites are basic but provide for comfortable lodging. Probably more suited for longer stays as opposed to just an overnight. ”

“The phones in the rooms didn’t work, the key card for the door kept having to get programmed. I tried to check out early and was completely unable to get ahold of anyone at the hotel and the person at the counter said to try calling. I tried and could never get through to the hotel. Won’t ever stay there again”
