Lovely place to stay and a great breakfast

Perfectly combined the elegance and amenities of a high grade hotel with the friendliness and warmth of a small B&B. Excellent breakfast too.

Lovely hotel!

Great hotel, lovely staff, comfortable bedroom and amazing breakfast. Also Dexter the dog is adorable!

Good breakfast but very tired hotel needs makeover

The staff were friendlly and breakfast was good however the twin room was very small single size. The shower room and toilet was very cramped and the shower was very week in a small cubicle. The window was old so could not be opened as so room very stuffy. An uncomfortable stay.

It was a lovely hotel, quite grand looking but a really nice friendly, family atmosphere. Beds were really comfortable and really good breakfast options too.

Friendly and reasonably priced but a little dated. Was fine for one night whilst working the area.

Pleasant hotel in a historical building.

Stayed for one night on a business trip, my room was quiet, clean and comfortable, nothing more to be desired in the situation. The breakfast was decent.

Hilbury Court Hotel

The hotel is very central to lots of attractions. Audrey and Eddy were very nice and very welcoming into there hotel. The room and the surroundings area outstanding and very clean. Overall a very nice family run business.

Very nice staff, friendly and nothing too much trouble, breakfast was superb, eggs cooked just as you want them with bacon, hash browns, tomato, baked beans, sausage. As well as all this you have a choice of fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals and various breads. Coffee and tea galore. More than enough to fuel you for the day. Thoroughly recommended

Friendly and comfortable hotel

We stayed for 3 nights in a double room. The hotel owners were very welcoming and all the staff were really friendly. This is a small hotel with only 9 guest rooms in an old grade 2 listed building. It looks a little tired in places but this is more than made up for by the beautiful chandeliers, cornice, parquet floor and interesting staircase. More importantly, everywhere is lovely and clean. The rooms are well equipped and include many of those little things you may have forgotten to bring with you. Breakfast included a really good selection of cerials, pastries, fruit, yogurt and a buffet of cooked food. Eggs are cooked to order. The hotel is within walking distance of the centre of Trowbridge with its good selection of shops and restaurants. On arrival at the hotel we were given a map of the town with advice on the best places to eat, which we were very happy with. We would definitely try to book this hotel again if we’re ever down this way again.
