“Absolutely loved staying here. The property is gorgeous. Set up on a hill with amazing views of the mountains. About 20 minutes from town and 45 minutes from Taos ski valley, we enjoyed lovely sunsets and got some great turns in. The house is beautiful with charming rooms, fireplaces, and old Taos spirit. It had tons of room for friends and family and we would happily return here again on our next trip to town.”

“It’s a pretty isolated property. Lots of peace and serenity. The kids did dogs and s’mores after building a campfire. If you have a Tesla this probably isn’t the best place. Taos does not have a supercharger and the closest one is in Sante Fe. Actually I would stay away from Taos all together if you have a Tesla. Other than that ( it’s not the property fault) the place was great. Had a neat hiking trail, fire pit, some neat art work in the typical New Mexico vibe. If you love nature this is a……

The house was comfortable for a family of five and is located conveniently close to Sipapu ski resort (it saves us from having to cross over to Taos through the pass every day, which shaves about 15’ each way).”

“The home in Taos is situated so that you have fantastic views of the mountains from the jacuzzi. The neighborhood is quiet and close to town. I was kept busy daily by all the wonderful art galleries and museums in the area. The kitchen had all the equipment needed to cook meals. If cooking isn't your thing then you will be pleased by the many restaurants available. I will stay here the next time I visit Taos if it is available.”

“La Lomita was excellent. The property is comfortable, spacious, and very well stocked. Directions are helpful for where to find everyday things you need. It is just lovely - the attention to detail without feeling overwhelming. And the books ... many interesting and diverse titles. ☺️”

“Our family of six loved staying at this house! It was only a 15 minute drive to Sipapu ski resort, and the house had everything we needed for our stay. The little ones loved having their own bedroom (off the master bath and small, but perfect for them) and the older kids enjoyed the upper loft room and hangout area. The master bedroom was cozy and the jacuzzi and heated floor in the bathroom was awesome! The owners allowed us to check in early and were quick to respond to any questions we had.……

“Truchas is about an hour's drive away from Santa Fe, Taos and Los Alamos. So if you want to visit all 3, this is a perfect location. The house was as pictured and a perfect getaway for my husband and I. Wild life bonus: Hummingbirds at the feeder were so fun to watch. Also saw a rabbit and a tiny lizard. Great fun! Hostess was very responsive.”

“Clean, well maintained and nicely decorated home. Nice location. Enclosed courtyard good for dogs but there are dogs next door who want your dog to know it’s their turf :) Bathroom awkward because of sink location and door won’t stay closed but good storage for your toiletries. Great kitchen, excellent oven/stove. Beds too hard, but that’s just me. I had to sleep on the couch but wouldn’t work for tall person. I would have appreciated some literature in the house for things to do in the area,……

“Great place”

“We have been to Tesuque before and wanted this area and type of home with views and privacy. The home was perfect for our group of 12, ranging in ages 4-74! We had ample room with the additional casita and enjoyed cooking and all of the fireplaces. Fully equipped kitchen allowed us to stay in and enjoy the home. There was a blizzard! And the driveway is sloped and slippery however the kids loved sledding down the driveway. Only positive things to say about this property. Thank you for allowing……
