Spacious - Great for a large group!

Overall the property is well equipped and accommodated our two family party of 10 very well. Our kids loved the ping pong and the parents, a table that was large enough for all.

Everything we wanted!

I had the pleasure of staying here for a week of spring skiing! Everyone in my party was comfortable and very satisfied with the rooms. We loved popping over to the rec center to take advantage of the sauna and hot tubs! We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay for two nights. We were a group consisting of two couples and a family of four. It was a beautiful spacious home with lots of natural light. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The towels were new and fresh. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, glassware and dishes. It was a great location. we would definitely consider renting this home again.

Home and location are beautiful, except the owner’s REALLY have to upgrade the oven and washer/dryer. It took FOUR drying cycles to dry simple pillow cases. They have very nice TV’s, but an oven/washer/dryer that are VERY VERY old

Great place, poor service

We enjoyed the spacy house with the fantastic location. Shuttle takes you to Northstar and back. We had a few issues e.g. WiFi password provided was incorrect. We called and were told someone will come to resolve it. Unfortunately, nobody showed up and nobody contacted us how to resolve the matter. Nobody even followed up with us.

Mold in the house..

One of the bedrooms had mushrooms growing through the carpet. It was disgusting. We could not use that bedroom, so people had to sleep on the floor in another room. This home had a lot of potential but was dirty, and the mushrooms were disgusting. I normally don’t write a review, but this was really bad.

The best location! Easy drive to Northstar, into Truckee as well as route 28 around the lake. There was so much to love about this gracious house. It has modern conveniences and good wifi signal strength. Views can be enjoyed from inside the main floor rooms & master bedroom (and even one of the downstairs bedrooms) as well as on the decks. Every room is spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. Heating, kitchen appliances, showers ... everything works well. I would choose this rental every time! Can't recommend highly enough

Great Northstar Value

Spacious and comfortable with a huge kitchen, 3 large decks and views for days. Easy shuttle to Northstar village and rec center. Plenty to do on days-in with 3 smart tvs, solid wifi, games, puzzles, books, and ping pong.

Family Ski Trip

We enjoyed our stay at Sleek Hill Haven. Definitely an older property, but fully functional and clean. In the winter, the only way in was through the garage, which had a large chunk of ice on it and no salt in the garage. We contacted Vacasa regarding this hazard, but they never came to address it. They did plow after the snow storm, which was helpful since the driveway was very steep. Overall a good property with great views!

Could use significant attention

The house was large and accommodated 3 small families well. The location can't be beat with incredible views and fun snow play around the house. The furniture was nice and comfortable. However, we were disappointed with the kitchen. The appliances are clearly original (built in 1990). The top oven was broken and the heating coil sparked. The outside grill was out of propane as well as the lighter mechanism not working. The cabinet door under the sink was broken and the door fell off each time the cabinet door was opened to get soap for the dishwasher. Make sure you bring all your own spices as there are none provide in the house. I don't think I have unrealistic expectations for vacation houses, but for the price of this home, I would expect them to provide salt, pepper and olive oil. Another disappointment was that the (numerous) stairs to the front door, and the driveway directly in front of the garage door were covered in thick sheets of slick ice. I understand that I am vacationing in the snow, and I would be fine with snow/ice if it were actually snowing, but it hadn't snowed in over 1 month. It was very treacherous every time we left the house. By the time we got there, the ice was so thick there was no way for us to break through it with a snow shovel. This place lacked attention or care.

Nice visit.

It was a nice weekend. Love the ping pong table and downstairs bedrooms. It was a really hot weekend. The air conditioning does not work very well.
