Donner Family Time

We had a brief stay and really had a wonderful time. We cooked, played games, rode bikes, and played pool. Lots of room to spread out and rest. The large area downstairs made it fun to gather and enjoy some precious moments. The bedding and linens were very nice, too.

Everyone had a great time loved the house only complaint was windows they were not allowed to be open upstairs and the room with the pool table was extremely hot it would have been nice if we could have opened the window

Great location, but construction was disruptive

We really enjoyed the location — it was close to everything we needed and the home itself was as described. However, we were surprised and disappointed to discover that there was construction happening every day (except Sunday) during our stay from Wednesday to Monday.It would have been helpful if the host had informed us ahead of time, as the noise was disruptive right at 7am when the construction crew shows up with a cabin under construction literally right next to the one we booked. Less than 20 feet away from a couple of the bedrooms' windows.If you are planning a quiet getaway, I would recommend checking with the host first about any ongoing construction.The host was great about asking how the check in was but after I shared the news about the construction, there was one more text then I didn't hear back the rest of the stay.That said, the home itself was clean and comfortable.
