Welcome to the PowHaus - where your Lake Tahoe dreams come true!

This property is a brand-new, beautifully decorated 3-bedroom townhouse less than a mile from downtown Truckee. It's perfect for families or ski groups who want to enjoy everything Tahoe has to offer. Come stay with us and enjoy mountain modern at it's finest!

Downtown: 3 minute drive / 15 minute walk (may be difficult for kids/older adults)
Northstar: 15 minute drive
Squaw/Alpine: 17 minute drive
Kings Beach: 19 minute drive

Our tastefully designed townhouse is fully furnished with everything you need to enjoy your vacation: a private, two-car garage (with 240V EV outlet - NEMA 14/50), a beautiful well-stocked kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, a spacious--yet cozy--living room, two fire places, three bedrooms, and three and a half bathrooms.

THE DETAILS

Master bedroom: Features a queen-sized memory foam mattress and ensuite bathroom with dual vanity and large standing bathtub. Feel free to start the fire and turn on Netflix!

Guest bedroom: Another memory foam queen bed & ensuite bathroom downstairs.

Bunk room: Contains a bunk bed with 2 full-sized mattresses and a trundle with a twin mattress. Please note the top bunk holds a MAXIMUM OF 1 ADULT (we are serious about this -- it is not designed for, nor will it support, 2 adults).

Fully stocked kitchen that includes:
– Plenty of pots, pans, & baking sheets for large family meals
– Serving utensils
– Full set of chef knives
– Oven
– Dishwasher
– Fridge and freezer
– Coffee maker
- Outdoor grill

Living space with:
- An open floor plan to cook, lounge, and hang out together
- Large dinning room table with 8 chairs
- Plenty of seating around the living room
- Fireplace
- AC
- Games & TV
- Sliding glass door onto the balcony with a grill, more seating, and mood-setting bistro lights

Laundry:
– Feel free to use our washer and dryer in the downstairs closet

*Just a friendly heads up. We have a Ring Doorbell camera set up outside our home. Please don't take this as a big brother tactic ;) We just want to make sure our home is secure while away and also during your stay

Other things to note
We love animals, but please note that this home is pet free. In the event that you bring your pet along for a stay, you'll be subject to a $1,000 fine and immediate cancellation of your stay.

We do not offer refunds for inclement weather. Travel insurance is highly recommended during the winter as there are frequent road closures!

Wonderful & spacious house

Our family had a fantastic stay at this house. It is very spacious and our family really felt at home. The upstairs has a great layout and the kitchen has everything you need. The master bathroom is definitely a treat and it's great that the downstairs bedrooms have also 2 bathrooms available. The garage is clean and clutter free, making it easy for us to come home from a day of skiing. The only thing that can be improved is the bunk bed. It's really more for kids than adults. The lower bed could not comfortably accommodate two adults as there is not much room between these 2 beds. Other than that, we hope to be back at this great house!

Great Stay in a Convenient Location

Nice, clean property with modern amenities We’re a family of 4 but the place can easily fit 6-7. Stayed there during our kids spring break, and they had fun building snowmen in the open area right outside the house. My husband and I did some remote work and the large dining table and strong wifi was appreciated. Kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to cook meals which we did plenty of. Location is great since it’s near downtown truckee where there’s plenty of restaurants, bars, and a short drive to Safeway. Small issue with the thermostat during our stay but Aaron was very responsive and made sure to send folks out asap to fix. All in all a great stay and we would book again in the future.

Great location, lovely townhome

We had a great weekend at this townhome. Updated and with a nice layout. (Minor feedback - the lower bed on the bunk bed had very tight space between it and the upper bunk, a little claustrophobic and low even for a kid.) Great location near town and ski resorts. Fun hill to sled right outside. Communication with Aaron was very easy and pleasant. We hope to be back!

Whole family holiday

The home was very nice and even with 6 -8 adults we had plenty of room. It would be tight having 8 adults sleeping there at once as two of the beds are singles (top of bunk and trundle) and we felt the bottom bunk was very claustrophobic (we used couch in living room instead). Never really got the hang of the heat system (my cluelessness) but loved the open kitchen with 3 types of coffee makers, open floor plan and closeness to downtown Truckee. Would definitely recommend visiting!

We enjoyed our stay :) It very close to downtown Truckee where you can find some great restaurants, coffee shops, and stores. Also a short drive to beach, palisades, and North Star. Loved having a porch, 4 bathrooms, and garage access! Aaron was very responsive. Looking forward to staying again and in the winter too!

Best VRBO experience...EVER

Incredible. Pictures don't do justice to the level of detail and thought that the owner put into his home and transforming it into a VRBO property. We've stayed at some pretty cool places and homes, but this one really does transcend those. We cannot wait to return. I could rack my brain for hours thinking of constructive criticism but I honestly have none. Thank you Aaron. Our girls' first experience in the snow surpassed their expectations and ours, in no small part thanks to your lovely home.

Immaculate and modern

This was a really beautiful property with a great location! I come to Truckee almost monthly and will definitely stay here again. It is top 10% of the places I have seen in Truckee. So many pros the list would go on and on. Some minor cons: need mattress pads (after stripping the beds there are stains on the mattress), master bed creaks, auto-lights are annoying in the bathrooms and wake you up at night when the heater triggers them, the thermostats have a mind of their own and change your temperature setting without your knowledge (smart thermostats aren't so smart when trying to save you money). Oh, also we had a big snowstorm while were there and the property manager was very responsive.

Fantastic weekend getaway with family

The property was modern, clean, and quiet, which was everything I wanted. Aaron was responsive in setting up access to the listing and providing an overall guide to the property. I knew the property was new but I didn't realize how fantastic it was going to be. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and well-decorated, the living room was cozy, and the kitchen was well-equipped. My family had a wonderful stay and was delighted by the fresh environment. I would definitely stay here again.
