This house is even better than described. I have rented many homes that say they have a fully stocked kitchen, but Lone Retreat means it! Quality - and quantity - of everything you need to enjoy homemade meals during your stay. High-end appliances and coffeemakers, too. The beds are all comfortable; the linens and towels are good quality, too. The house is about 30 minutes from Ithaca and the last 10 minutes of the drive are on a gravel, single lane road that becomes steep at the driveway. The booking said it recommends "all wheel or 4 wheel drive"; we had no problem with our minivan and a small SUV but we made the trip to the house only once a day, preferring to do any errands (groceries, etc) while on our way back from a hike. Driving the road at night is not for the feint of heart.

New build and Modern

Property has been built recently and modern. On the lake and great views. Beds were comfortable. Only thing I would add is a TV in the main living room, but not necessary since the views from the living room is fantastic.
