「The house has definitely aged since the photos were taken. The landscaping is quite over grown. The hot tub was dirty so we didn’t feel comfortable using it. When we tried to vacuum the vacuum was all clogged up so my husband had to clean it which is not something we wanted to do on our weekend get away. It was a really nice quiet dead end street with beautiful views. The lock on the patio is broken and it took quite some finagling to get that to even open. It’s a beautiful spot, the house just...

「A magical farm you won't want to leave! Plenty of room to roam and sit outside to enjoy nature during the day. At night we really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub under the lit pergola. Slept like a baby on a very comfortable bed and loved that we had the option for A/C or a fan and that we could open the "garage" door on the unit for fresh air if we wanted. And finally, the best part of Alpine South, the family who runs it. They make you feel like you're staying with old friends from the moment...

「The house is very remote from my venue (FENCE), but not difficult to find. Upon arrival, the outside looked like a dump, but the interior was clean and while very cluttered to my taste, attractive. The problems I had were - no closets in bedrooms (there was a room devoted to laundry and closet, but full of owners' clothers); the kitchen apparently had no dishes except a few children's plates. Could not find ANY plates, bowls, etc. so breakfast was out of the question; no directions at all...

「Lovely campsite, suggestions, a step stool or ladder to get in van for vertically challenged people and a hand grip somewhere inside near the door to assist with pulling up if no step stool.
Recommend some kind of hand rail or rope to hold onto to go up and down the incline to get to campsite.
I know the Sasquatch is supposed to help identify the home but it blends in with environment. Maybe paint it a color that will standout a bit?
This might not be the best place for a 63 yr old. ...

「Our stay at the Piney Mountain cabin was fantastic. The cabin was spotless and in a great location. The area is very quiet and has beautiful views. It is a short drive to many small towns for great food, shopping, hiking and the Biltmore. This is our second stay here. Alison Greer, our host, is extremely easy to reach for questions and provided detailed instructions. The cabin was stocked with essentials and everything we needed for a wonderful, relaxing vacation. Highly recommend!」
